Kim Kardashian’s daughter, North ‘Nori’ West, may soon be outgrowing it!
The superstar’s mother surprised fans when she posted several images featuring herself and the nine-year-old, with the latter appearing to be taller than other children his age. The look soon sparked chatter on social media, with many questioning Kim about her daughter’s real age. The 42-year-old reality star shares North — and three other children — with her ex-husband and famous rapper Kanye West.
North West Almost Outdoes Kim Kardashian In Their Latest Mother-Daughter Post
With just weeks to go until her tenth birthday, North has reminded anyone who cares about her place in the Kardashian-West household. Kim and Kanye’s eldest child looked much taller than her age when she appeared in a photo her mother posted on Instagram.

The mother-daughter duo alternated in matching outfits, with Kim in a thin black hat, leather pants, and leather gloves and North in a leather jacket, oversized black jeans, and flats. Both accessorized with black boots, dark sunglasses and large Chanel bags.
They continued to show their faces as Kim pouted and posed hard as she carried her handbag in one hand and placed the other around her son. Additional photos show the Skims founder frowning as her eldest daughter kisses her cheek and the tween makes a call on a landline.
Even though she’s wearing heels, her daughter looks less than a head shorter than the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” alum. The scene prompted many followers to express their thoughts about the North soon overtaking Kim, with one follower writing, “really your successor.”
“How is he just 9 years old? Too bad,” a second person commented, and a third claimed, “Adult before his time ?.” A fourth wrote, “He’s a mix of his parents in every way. ❤️ Is Kim really short or is Northie that tall???,” and a fifth gushed, “She’s so tall now, omg.”
Several others advised the co-founder of SKKY Partners not to let her daughter “grow up too fast” just because she has grown taller. Another group of people are happy that the reality star and her baby girl are spending time together following Kim’s previous revelation that North only cares about new rap sensation Ice Spice — full name Isis Naija Gaston.
The Blast noted that the KKW Beauty creator uploaded a video showing her and her three-year-old son, Psalm, cuddling before North interrupted them. The little girl came to hand over the phone she used to FaceTime with her mom’s best friend and actress, Lala Anthony.

“When my daughter investigated my best friend’s time while I was trying to make a video,” Kim said as she grabbed the device from her son. He then asks his best friend, “What are you talking about,” and the “Power” alum replies, “We’re talking about Ice Spice.” Upon hearing this, KKW’s Fragrance curator declared, “Ice Spice, that’s all North cares about.”
‘Ocean’s 8’ Cameo Star Reveals Relationship Between North & Karl Lagerfeld
Earlier this month, the socialite informed her 355 million followers of North’s bond with the late German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld. In an Instagram Story post, Kim uploaded some images taken during her pregnancy with North.
In one of the shots, fans were treated to a blurry photo shoot scene, with Lagerfeld in the background seemingly conducting something from his position atop a cabinet. She stood apart, her signature white hair styled in a ponytail and her eyes hidden behind thick dark shades.
Across from the image, the “Kourtney and Kim Take New York” alum wrote, “My first fashion shoot with North in my belly. I gave birth a few weeks after this.” He also explained that Lagerfeld had shot the photos while Riccardo Tisci was the art director of the shoot, and Carine Roitfeld was the stylist.
A follow-up update showed the shapewear entrepreneur wearing a black bra, jacket and matching pants, with a hand on her noticeable bump. The Fendi designer didn’t have a worry in the world as he snapped the “Disaster Movie” cast, who were seen posing in front of a large display of books in his studio.
