Additionally, she became the first person in NCAA women’s basketball history to win a national championship as both a player and an assistant coach. He also led Baylor to three NCAA championships in 2005, 2012, and 2019.
Mulkey was also inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame in 2020, as well as the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Mulkey won six games for the United States National Team at the 1983 World Championships in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
