Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s bills continue to mount amid their divorce as they have to pay for a parental fitness evaluator.
The estranged couple’s parenting skills are called into question when the authorities repeatedly settle a heated agreement between them.
To make matters worse, the police were even called by one of their children to their Georgia home, which was facing foreclosure due to their financial problems.

According to the new legal document, Zolciak and Biermann will have to shell out $5,000 for a parental fitness evaluator. The bill is split between them, meaning they must make a one-time payment of $2,500 for the services of a court-appointed examiner.
Evaluators will monitor the exes involved and their relationships with their four young children — Kroy Jr., Kash, and twins Kaia and Kane.
The inspector’s services reportedly included interviewing Zolciak, Biermann, and their children, visiting their homes, and potential school observations.
The parental fitness assessor will also consult with professionals who have worked with the family, and they have the right to investigate all aspects of the case.
This means they can access all of the couple’s records, whether it’s from the Department of Family and Children Services or the child’s school.
Additionally, examiners can review hospital records and speak with medical providers, authorities and more about the estranged spouse or their children.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, appointed officials can also make copies of these records without Zolciak and Biermann’s permission.
Parents’ Fitness Evaluation Bills Come Months After Their Children Are Called by Authorities

As noted, authorities have repeatedly visited the former Georgia home, and they were called in November 2023 by one of the couple’s children. During the incident, the child dialed 911 following a heated argument between Zolciak and Biermann.
The dramatic fight between the exes marked the third time the police visited their home. This is why courts feel it necessary to use parental fitness evaluators to determine whether an estranged couple is a good parent.
While $5,000 for an appraisal may not seem like much, every penny currently counts for Zolciak and Biermann. Their financial problems include foreclosure on their Georgia home, pending lawsuits over unpaid credit card debt and more.
Given their dire financial situation, the two tried to sell their luxury home and even reduced the original asking price by $500,000 to attract potential buyers last December.

Zolciak and Biermann initially listed their Georgia mansion for $6 million; however, they could not find interested parties.
To sweeten the deal, the couple reduced the sale price by $500,000 and relisted the property for $5,500,000 in December 2023.
The move comes two months after they put their two-story, seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom Milton home on the market.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Biermann stressed the importance of selling the couple’s home amid their financial problems.
“The only asset they currently have with equity is the matrimonial home. The mortgage is held in the petitioner’s name. However, it is set for foreclosure in November,” an excerpt from the filing states, adding:
“The current living conditions are unsustainable and affect the mental and emotional health of minors. If the marital home is sold, it will provide both parties with enough income to secure their home, thereby bringing the children out of a toxic environment.”
Kim Zolciak Sells Skincare Brand Amid Financial Struggles
Following the revelation of their financial problems, Zolciak sold items from her luxury collection, including bags, shoes and jewellery.
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum rose in February when she sold her skin care line, Kashmere Kollections, to a well-known women’s health brand.
The mother of six announced the sale on Instagram, sharing a press release about her acquisition of skincare brand Tim Sharif through her 310 Nutrition LLC. Surprisingly, the new owner is no stranger to Zolciak and his Kashmere Kollections line.
The announcement of the sale revealed the TV personality joined Sharif to create her skincare brand in 2016. She also expressed her excitement at passing the leadership torch to him in the caption of the post, writing:
“A heartfelt thank you for the incredible loyalty you have shown @kashmerekollections! I look forward to seeing the brand grow. This is your future full of endless possibilities!”
