Kimberly Wyatt Clears The Air On Nicole Scherzinger Feud

Kimberly Wyatt has broken her silence about some rumored Pussycat Dolls beef!

The 40-year-old shot to fame after she joined the all-female group, one of the best-selling female groups of all time, in 2003.

The group, which also includes Nicole Scherzinger, Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta, Ashley Roberts, and Melody Thornton, sold millions of records worldwide after their first single, “Don’t Cha,” became a smash hit. However, they announced their split in 2010 amid speculation of a behind-the-scenes rift.

All’s Well Between Kimberly Wyatt & Nicole Scherzinger

Although years have passed since the members of the Pussycat Dolls refocused their energies elsewhere, fans are still curious about where Scherzinger and Wyatt stand, especially following the allegations against the former. Fans will recall that band founder Robin Antin accused 44-year-old Scherzinger of threatening to walk out of the band’s reunion plans unless she was given a majority stake.

The former lead singer also allegedly wants “full creative control” and “ultimate decision-making power.” These allegations have led to a lawsuit — from Antin — and a counterclaim — from Scherzinger, who previously denied the allegations. Although legal drama has halted any plans to reunite the Dolls, Wyatt has revealed that the girls are on good terms with each other.

“There’s no disagreement with Nicole — I’m friends with all the girls, and I hold everyone in a beautiful space. I think women supporting women is really important. I really think we’re going to stand for that.”

Although the Dolls haven’t performed together since their appearance on “The X Factor” in 2019, Wyatt thinks they all want to get back together while also mentioning his role in their last reunion. In his words:

“We were desperate to get back together. It took me two and a half years to get us on the line for the X Factor reunion show. I had a surprise baby so I was actually on stage performing seven weeks after my last c-section! I always stay optimistic but at this stage, there’s so much going on. It’s completely out of my hands and out of my control.”

Things seem to have changed since 2013, when Wyatt claimed that he and Scherzinger hadn’t spoken since their split in 2010. The Her Majesty & the Wolves dancer also referred to his former bandmate as someone he worked with rather than a friend.

Nicole Scherzinger Wants Over A Million Dollars In Compensation From Ex-Boss

Last month, The Blast broke the legal dispute behind Scherzinger and Antin after the business mogul sued the 2010 “Dancing with the Stars” winner for extortion. Trouble began for the former friend when Antin approached Scherzinger to headline the band’s reunion tour, which was first scheduled to run from May to June 2021.

The two quickly came to an impasse over how to split the proceeds, which, among other things, led to the cancellation of the tour. Shortly after the cancellation, Antin sued Scherzinger for extortion, and she responded by filing a countercomplaint against Antin, alleging her former boss breached their contract and mismanaged the reunion tour funds.

According to court documents, the “Poison” singer claims her former boss embezzled some of the money meant for the band during their tour while distributing some of it to others who were not involved in the preparations for the reunion tour.

The suit reads, “Antin’s conduct included extorting a $30,000 “fee”, which he was contractually prohibited from taking. Antin’s embezzlement included paying another performer, Pia Mia, more than $100,000 to be PCD’s lead singer and buying her expensive gifts. Miss Mia did not survive PCD and did not benefit the project. When Antin realized that PCD with Miss Mia would not work, Antin again approached Scherzinger.”

He also claimed that Antin used his name to gain commercial benefits without any permission from him. Legal documents further state that the “Dirty Dancing” star used at least $163k of her funds to cover Pussycat Dolls expenses. Scherzinger stated in the filing that she was not reimbursed in any way, adding that the funds Antin transferred could be used to cover expenses.

The pop star is seeking $1.1 million in damages, claiming she lost another gig worth at least a million dollars to join the Pussycat Dolls tour.
