A month ago, Turner revealed in an interview, per guardian, that he is not afraid of death and is ready to “embrace and accept each day with what it brings”.

This comes after he admitted in March that kidney disease had put his health in “grave danger.”

“My kidneys are victims of my ignorance [sic] that my high blood pressure should be treated with conventional medicine,” he said in a post on Instagram in conjunction with World Kidney Day.

The late singer was diagnosed with hypertension in 1978 but mismanaged the health issue, which led to a stroke in 2009. In the years that followed, he only took unconventional medicine to deal with his hypertension, which led to the deterioration of his kidney health.
