King Charles III celebrates turning 74 in style!
Not only are there gun salutes echoing across the British capital and new photos, but the longest-serving heir apparent has a new role to mark his first anniversary as king. Charles took over royal duties after the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, in September.
King Charles III Takes Over From His Late Father As Ranger of Windsor Park

The new birthday photo, dropped on the Royal Family’s official Twitter page, shows Charles resting his back on an oak tree in the garden. As it turns out, the photo also shows his appointment as a Ranger as the caption begins:
“The King officially became Park Ranger at Windsor Great Park, 70 years after his father, The Duke of Edinburgh, was appointed to the post. The Ranger offered guidance to the Deputy Ranger and his team in the day-to-day management of one of the oldest farms in the country.”
The tweet added that the role of the Rangers dates back to 1559 when “Sir Henry Neville was appointed during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I.” Since then, the position has been given to “the Sovereign or family members, including the King’s father and grandfather.”
Last comment in the thread recorded that Charles’ father was “Windsor Great Park’s longest-serving Ranger – holding the role from 1952 until his death in 2021.” During his time, Prince Phillip oversaw several developments, including “the reintroduction of the Red Deer and the development of the Savill Park Visitor Centre.”
Excited Royal fans answered, “What a touching picture of yourself, Tuanku. This reinforces your commitment to the environment. Congratulations, and your parents will be proud of you. You are sure to carve out your own reign as King. Happy Birthday my lord.”

Second fan tweeted, “A perfect date! Happy birthday my lord,” and the third ejaculated, “Wow what a beautiful picture to announce great news on The King’s birthday!! I really like it.”
Charles received mixed reactions when he and his wife, the Queen Mother Camilla Parker Bowles, were pelted with eggs while visiting York, England. The Blast revealed that things quickly calmed down with the help of security guards who stopped the couple.
As it turned out, the attacker was identified as Extinction Rebellion activist Patrick Thelwell, who was heard shouting, “This country was built on the blood of slaves!” Thelwell was detained by the authorities and escorted out of the Micklegate Bar to the sound of the crowd booing him and chanting, “God Save The King.”
Fortunately, neither Camilla nor Charles were hit by the four eggs aimed at them. Unlike the new King of England and his wife were disturbed by the attack. While Charles ignored the drama, Camilla continued to greet fans.
King Charles III Set For 2023 Coronation Ceremony

The British monarchy is set to resume its coronation following the death of Queen Elizabeth, according to The Blast. A ceremony for Charles is scheduled to take place next year. According to an announcement from Buckingham Palace, the coronation date is May 6, 2023. The highly anticipated and prestigious ceremony will take place at Westminster Abbey, London.
In keeping with tradition, the Archbishop of Canterbury will perform the coronation. However, the event will not be as lavish as it has been in the past due to the high cost of living in the United Kingdom. The Royal Family is also considering a financial crisis that has plunged the country into recession. Charles’ big day is estimated to be cheaper than his mother’s.
Queen Elizabeth’s coronation ceremony, which lasted three hours, cost taxpayers £1.57 million — a sum that translates to about $50 million in today’s economy. However, royalty will be resplendent in all their luxury, as a Palace spokesperson stated:
“The coronation will reflect the king’s role today and look towards the future while being rooted in tradition and pageantry.”
As usual, a number of dignitaries and world leaders will grace the ceremony where the former Prince of Wales will be crowned with the crown of Saint Edward after taking the oath. Reports claim that the royal crown consists of 22 carat gold, diamonds, topaz, ruby, amethyst, sapphire, garnet, and tourmaline.
