King Charles Reportedly ‘Relieved’ About Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s Absence From His Birthday

A Buckingham Palace expert has claimed that King Charles III and the Royal family were “relieved” Prince Harry and Meghan Markle missed out on the monarch’s 75th birthday celebrations. Celebrations begin on Monday with a tea dance and continue with a private family birthday party. Harry and Meghan were notably left off the invite list.

Another Royal expert stated that Harry and Meghan didn’t really care about not being invited because they still have a bad relationship with the Royal family. Although the couple say there is no relationship, Harry will still reportedly call his father from their California home.

Neal Sean, Buckingham Palace expert and royal commentator, has weighed in on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s absence from King Charles’ 75th birthday celebrations. He claimed that the King and the rest of the Royal Family were actually “relieved” about the couple not being in London for a week.

He told Fox News, “Let’s be clear, most senior members of the British monarchy are more than relieved by the news that the two former royals known as Harry and Meghan will not be home for the birthday celebration of His Majesty, The King. The simple fact is, this news is a problem, but more importantly, who needs victims in a family celebration?”

Sean added that while King Charles “wants to make peace” with Harry and welcome him back into the family, it is now a bigger issue with senior members of the Royal Family. Harry and Meghan were the two main names excluded from the guest list for the monarch’s private 75th birthday celebration at Clarence House on November 14.

King Charles kicked off his birthday week with a tea dance party on Monday. It was organized by The Prince’s Trust at Highgrove House, which is one of the official Royal residences for the King. Harry and Meghan were also absent from the event, which is mostly for the 75-year-old.

Sean went on to say, “Five years ago, King Charles could not have predicted exactly how this historic birthday would turn out. However, reaching such a birthday has made him realize, according to close sources, just how difficult life as a reigning king can be.”

The royal expert added that King Charles is hopeful that “his troublesome youngest son Prince Harry may have relented” and returned home for “such an important birthday.”

The King’s birthday celebrations continue with a private birthday party at Clarence House on the 14th, which many of his family and friends will attend. This includes Queen Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton, and many other royals.

Prince Harry Doesn’t Care About Birthday Snubs

Another Royal expert, Richard Fitzwilliams, has said that Prince Harry doesn’t have many feelings about the Royal birthday snub. He told Daily Express, “I really don’t think Harry cares about not being invited to his dad’s 75th. The rift deepened. The Sussexes reportedly still want an apology from the royal family.

Fitzwilliams further said that the future of the relationship between the Sussexes and the Royal family is “uncertain.” He added that it was “not a pleasant prospect for King Charles to deal with.” The expert also said that it will “take years” for the Sussexes and the Royal family to reconcile because there is so much distrust now.

Meanwhile, spokespersons for Harry and Meghan have revealed that there has been “no contact” from the King or the royal family about the birthday. The representative issued a statement to Position: “In response to the UK media headlines, there has been no contact regarding an invitation to his Majesty’s upcoming birthday. It is disappointing that the Sunday Times has misreported this story.”

Despite the birthday criticism, it seems Harry plans to extend an olive branch by contacting his father on the 14th. An insider told the BBC that the Duke of Sussex intends to speak to his father at least on the big day. This may be a big step towards mending the strained relationship between father and son.

Another source close to Sussex previously told Daily Mail that Harry and Meghan didn’t know about the birthday party until a viral report from The Sunday Times. A friend now suggests that the story was leaked to distract the public from the King and Queen’s recent visit to Kenya, where they faced pressure to apologize for Britain’s colonial past and the damage done to the African nation.

However, we wish King Charles III a very happy 75th birthday!
