Kit Harington, an English actor, and his wife, Rose Leslie, have revealed that they are expecting their second child together. During an appearance on The Jimmy Falon Show on February 3, the 36-year-old celebrity claimed that her son was “going to have the shock of his life.”
He stated:
“That is he will gain a sibling.”
Harington and Leslie already have a 2-year-old son. Kit Harington then added to his speech by mentioning how his mentality changed when the couple were expecting their first child together.
He stated:
“I’m scared to death. For nine months, you feel like you’re walking on clouds and dancing over a field of daisies – at least, the man did. But the reality check was much shorter this time. “You quickly become practical.”

Kit Harington and Rose Leslie were friends long before they starred together in HBO’s Game of Thrones. In October 2011, they began filming the show’s second season, where he portrayed Jon Snow and she played Ygritte.
In an interview with People Magazine, Rose stated:
“We knew each other before we started working on Game of Thrones. Working opposite him is always fun, and it’s a benefit that we get to be together in real life because it makes our roles more believable.”
According to Harington, the couple fell in love while filming the second season of Game of Thrones in Iceland.
He said, “
“The three weeks we spent in Iceland filming the second season. Because of the amazing scenery, the Northern Lights are amazing, and I fell in love there. It’s easy to fall in love if you’re already attracted to someone and they portray your love interest in this program.”
When they were spotted having dinner together in London in August 2012, the couple confirmed their relationship. They broke up for a short period a year later but reconnected within three months of their split.
A source told Us Magazine at the time:
“It’s informal now, and they’re having fun. They haven’t lived together or done anything yet.”
Kit Harington and Rose Leslie made their red carpet debut at the Olivier Awards in April 2016, after hiding their affair for several years. After living together for almost a year, the couple confirmed their engagement in September 2017. They married in June 2018 at Kirkton of Rayne church in Scotland, with Game of Thrones duo Peter Dinklage, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams and Emilia Clarke. After announcing their pregnancy in September of the previous year, the couple became parents to a baby boy in February 2021.
