Kranti Prakash Jha is an Indian actress and model. He is popular for playing the role of Santosh Lal in the Bollywood film, ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ (2016).

Kranti Prakash Jha was born on Wednesday, 2 November 1988 (age 31 years; as in 2019), in Bhagalpur, Bihar. His zodiac sign is Capricorn. He attended school from Parora Awasi Madhyavidyalay, Purnea and St. MG, Begusarai, Bihar. Later, he completed his studies (Major in History) from Hindu College, University of Delhi.

Career
He started his career as a theater artist. He joined Alok Ulfat’s theater group ‘Avikal.’ Later, she joined Maneesh Verma’s theater troupe, the ‘cult actor’ and acted in the theater play, ‘Aao Saathi Sapna Dekhen.’ He has performed in more than 150 theater plays. He has been featured in various TV commercials such as Hyundai Accent, Panasonic, Nokia, Pepsodent, and VIP. In 2011, he made his debut in the Bhojpuri film, ‘Deswa.’
In 2013, he played a small role in the Bollywood film, ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela.’ Some of his other films are ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ (2016), ‘Mithila Makhaan’ (2017), ‘Kaashi in Search of Ganga’ (2018), and ‘Batla House’ (2019).
In 2018, he portrayed the role of Swami Ramdev in the TV series, ‘Swami Ramdev – Ek Sangharsh.’
He was featured in the popular music video, ‘Chhath’ in 2019.
He appeared in MX Player’s web series, ‘Raktanchal’ in 2020.

- He participated in one of the Grasim Mr India competitions and won the title of ‘Best Dressed Man’. He was among the top five finalists.
- In an interview, he shared that his father wanted him to become an IPS Officer. He further said,
12th to baad Bihar to students to paas jyaada options nahi hote the. Ya to Doctor ya Engineer ya phir Delhi ja to UPSC(IAS/IPS) exam ki taiyyari, for humne bhi waisa hi kiya” and I appeared for UPSC exam. I was 2-3 marks short and it was heartbreaking to get so close but not over the line. “Bahut ghum mein jiye, 1 saal mein 1 hi baar exam hota hai, Chott bahut bhayanak tha.

For a whole year he has lived Dhoni’s life. All credit goes to him. And the results are there for you to see. He is very down to earth as a person. We remain in touch even today even though the shooting took place months ago. There is a connection between us. “6 mahine baad bhi baat ho lekin ek connect ho to achha lagta hai and we have established such a relationship.” We eat singhaada, jhaalmuri and balushahi together and used to talk about our days in Patna, so overall it was an amazing experience to work with Sushant Singh Rajput.”
