Krishnakali is a popular Indian Bengali television drama, produced by Susanta Das, under the banner of Tent Cinema. The series topped the weekly Bengali charts. The show was released on 18 June 2018. It airs daily at 7:00 PM on Zee Bangla and Zee5 App.
Story/Plot
The show is about, Shyama who faces a lot of discrimination because of her dark skin but she is keen to prove that whatever your complexion is, it doesn’t matter. However, Shyama is talented and skilled and embarks on a journey to create her own identity and fight against all odds. Her life changed when she married Nikhil and she wanted to venture into music. At first, her mother-in-law mocks and teases her because of her looks but as time goes on she becomes her daughter like, she changes her feelings towards her and her mother-in-law allows her to continue her music career. Later, Shyama takes part in a competition where his brother-in-law Ashok tries to kill him but he escapes by jumping into a river and disappears. Everyone thought she was dead and Nikhil was very sad to lose his beloved wife. Later, Nikhil moves out and marries Amropali, Shyama’s lookalike and starts a new life. But, Shyama returns after six months, surprises everyone and becomes pregnant. He identifies Ashok and Disha as villains and sends them to jail. Amropali grew jealous of Shayama and tried to kill him but he escaped this time too and while I was in disguise gave birth to a girl named, Krishna. Ashok kills accidentally, Amropali thinks it’s Shayma. Shayama and Krishna live in Benaras in disguise but have lost their memory and don’t remember anything about their past. Nikhil and his family go to Benaras and meet Krishna there, not knowing she is his daughter and everyone loves her singing. Later, Shyama and Krishna had to come to Kolkata for a singing competition in which Krishna participated. They meet, Nikhil on the road which takes them to his house but Ashok’s daughter and Amropali’s sister insult him. She goes to completion with, Nikhil. Munni decides to take revenge from Krishna by mixing alcohol in his drink so that he cannot sing, insulting himself, which will allow Nikhil to throw Krishna out of his house but Shyama comes and sings in it and everyone is shocked to see Shayama. is alive and Krishna is his daughter. “the story continues, stay tuned”
