Speaking at a press conference during the Berlinale International Film Festival, “Twilight” star Kristen Stewart revealed that she was delighted with the response to her recent photo shoot.
Per Hollywood Reporter, The 33-year-old actor, who was promoting his new film “Love Lies Bleeding” at the film festival, acknowledged the steamy layout’s impact, saying: “The existence of a female body thrusting any kind of sexuality at you that isn’t exclusively designed for straight men is something which people are not very comfortable with and so I’m very happy with it.”
Inside Rolling stones photoshoot, Stewart showed off his bold style, wearing a jock strap and basketball shorts against the backdrop of an old weight room.
Sharing insights into her approach to photography, the Los Angeles native said that she “relishes the opportunity” to be her main subject.
“It’s okay to take different pictures and mix them up in a way that people aren’t used to and want to go, and that’s okay too,” he added. “In fact, it’s pervasive, and it’s everywhere, and it’s denied, and it’s crazy that there’s no more pictures like it.”

During the press conference, Stewart, who identifies as bisexual, spoke about the evolving landscape of queer cinema, stating, “The era of queer movies, which is so obvious, is over – it’s over. Maybe it will, but I think things evolve and move on. It’s so embedded in how we all move forward.”
He emphasized the importance of portraying authentic human experience rather than simply focusing on marginalized identities, adding: “‘It doesn’t make [movies] about why they’re being left out, but people’s real experiences, what they like, what they want, where they come from, where they want to go and, yeah, not feeling like you always have to stand on—– a soapbox and be a spokesperson for everyone people.”
Advocating for LGBTQ+ narratives to be integrated into mainstream cinema to drive progress, Stewart concluded: “We can’t continue to do that thing where we tell everyone how it feels, and where we pat each other on the back and receive brownie points for providing space for marginalized voices, and only in their capacity to be allowed to speak about that alone.”
Upcoming Actress Susan Sontag Biopic Is ‘Hybrid Doc With Unique Format’

Stewart also gave an update on her ongoing biopic project centered around the late author Susan Sontag.
He described the project as a “hybrid documentary, research project, experiment, film-within-a-film type thing,” adding that “the format is unique” with “a kind of open process.”
Although the timeline for the release of the biopic is still uncertain, the “Future Crime” actor revealed that work began last year during the festival.
In addition to her involvement in the Sontag project, Stewart will star in “Love Lies Bleeding,” alongside Ed Harris, Dave Franco, Anna Baryshnikov, and Jena Malone, which is scheduled to hit theaters on March 8.
In the crime thriller, Stewart portrays Lou, a gym manager, who begins a romance with Jackie, a female bodybuilder played by Katy O’Brian.

Looking back on that moment, Stewart described it as “a very shooting-from-the-hip moment.” The Oscar nominee recounted how, during a discussion with “SNL” writers, the planned monologue felt “boring” until someone brought up Trump’s past tweets about his cheating scandal with “Twilight” co-star Robert Pattinson.
At the time of the scandal after paparazzi photos showed Stewart kissing director Rupert Sanders in 2012, Trump posted on X, “Robert Pattinson should not have taken Kristen Stewart back. He cheated on her like a dog and will do it again — just look. He can do better!”
Taking the narrative back during his iconic “SNL” monologue, Stewart quipped, “Donald, if you didn’t like me then, you probably really don’t like me now because I’m hosting ‘SNL’ and I’m, like, really gay, man. “
The “Panic Room” actress also expressed her displeasure with Trump’s reaction to her personal life, labeling her a “little baby” and delivering a sharp message: “F— you, b—-!”
