Birth & Early Life
Kristy Sellars was born on May 28, 1986, in Sydney, Australia. She went to school in Sydney and that’s where she got interested in dancing. She learned many different dance styles and eventually tried pole dancing. He likes to mix it with other dance styles. After fifteen years, Kristy is known worldwide for her creative shows. He created his show from scratch and worked with animator Jan Zavadil to make it come true. He tries hard to manage his personal and professional life. In 2019, he won “Australia’s Got Talent Season 9” by performing his signature pole act with a video playing in the background.
Career
After winning Australia’s Got Talent, Kristy tried out for America’s Got Talent in 2022-23. Her audition wowed everyone when she did a pole dance to a song called “Hit the Road, Jack.” All four judges liked it and sent it to the next round.
In the semi-final, he performed an incredible double pole dance that took the crowd through a different fantasy world. All the judges gave him a standing ovation, and he made it to the finals, where he performed another amazing routine dedicated to his daughter. Even so, all the judges were very impressed. In the end, he finished second, just behind another amazing act named Mayyas.
In 2023-24, Kristy joined America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League after being selected as one of the top 40 acts. This led him into the Draft Pool, and he eventually joined Howie Mandel’s team. During the Preliminary round, in Episode FL01, Kristy danced to “Eye of the Tiger” by Tommee Profitt. His performance was so good that he was selected to advance to the semi-finals.
