Kroy Biermann is finally talking about Kim Zolciak’s ever-present love of gambling and how it was a factor in their divorce.

The former football player claimed that his estranged wife, Zolciak, had a terrible “gambling problem”, one of the main things that affected their marriage for years. In new court documents, Biermann claims that his gambling has “financially devastated” the family.
A new paper obtained by Page Six is demanding that the former The Real Housewives of Atlanta stars undergo a psychological evaluation. Biermann referred to Zolciak’s gambling as “compulsion”.
He claimed that the mother of six allegedly “spent a lot of time and marital funds on gambling and other games of chance.” He also claimed that “this coercion has destroyed the parties financially.”

The father of four has requested primary custody of the four minor children he shares with Zolciak; now, she claims that Zolciak cannot properly care for the children. “[Kim’s] Time is running out with online gambling.”
Biermann and Zolciak share six children together, and she believes the gambling left her unprepared to care for Kroy, 11, Kash, 10, and 9-year-old twins Kaia and Kane. Zolciak’s daughters, Ariana and Brielle, are not involved in this custody mess because they are not minors.

Biermann also requested through documents that he be tested for mental health issues such as depression, narcissistic personality disorder, bipolar disorder and more. He also has his estranged wife’s literal gambling receipts.
He attached scanned copies of bank statements and checks showing withdrawals of thousands of dollars.

The Don’t Be Late star shared her concerns in a separate legal filing before Biermann. The singer was concerned about Biermann’s alleged drug use. He claimed that he witnessed Biermann continue to “smoke marijuana.”
This caused him to have “concerns” about the “safety” of their children around him. As one of the couple’s mutual friends claimed to Page Six, the custody battle is getting messy. Both parents want primary custody, with Zolciak available for all of Biermann’s visits.

Unfortunately, no reconciliation is on the table. Zolciak insisted that she had been trying to get rid of her husband for months but was unable to pull the plug. It’s a good time, considering they have some financial problems to solve!

Separated couples have few financial problems to deal with TOGETHER, divorce or not. Zolciak and Biermann allegedly owe the IRS $1.1 million in unpaid taxes, interest fees and penalties from 2013, 2017 and 2018.
Even though they can’t stand each other, they are stuck in their Alpharetta, Georgia, home together, waiting for the divorce and those pesky financial issues. Ironically, due to their financial problems, they are both fighting for custody while it is uncertain how long they will have to stay in the house after the divorce.
