Kusha Kapila is an Indian content writer, actress and social media celebrity who works for the popular Indian media platform, iDiva. He is famous for playing the fictional character “Billi Maasi.”

Kusha Kapila was born on Tuesday, 19 September 1989 (age 33 years; in 2022) in Delhi. He grew up in North Delhi and went to school in South Delhi. Kusha attended Delhi University’s Indraprastha College for Women to pursue her studies in English Literature. He then went to the National Institute of Fashion Technology to pursue a Bachelor of Design. While in college, Kusha joined theater and did street plays. At first, he wanted to be a journalist. After completing his studies, he started working as a Merchandising Intern at Bhartiya International. He worked there for 3 months and joined Chisell Effects, Noida as a Product Design Trainee.

Kusha Kapila started her career in 2013 as a Fashion Correspondent for an Apparel Online firm based in Delhi. She later worked as a Trend Analyst and Content Writer for Fashion Forward. In May 2014, he joined Razorfish and started working as a copywriter. After that, he worked as Head of Digital Content and Content Developer. In 2016, she moved to Times Internet and worked there as Fashion Editor. After that, she joined iDiva as a writer and met a fashion editor there. At iDiva, Kusha started creating videos for their Facebook page.
While making the video, he created the character “Billi Masi,” which later became popular, and Kapila came into the limelight. After that, he played many other characters that were well received by the audience. Kusha has also worked with many popular faces from Bollywood including Abishek Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor.
