LA homeowner who opened fire on armed intruders has his concealed carry ‘temporarily suspended’

A Los Angeles homeowner who opened fire on an armed intruder says the State of California has suspended his gun license.

Vince Ricci was walking home from the gym when two intruders jumped a fence onto his property and pointed a gun at his chest earlier this month.

A moment later, Ricci drops his coffee cup and pulls out a gun, firing, causing the bandits to quickly flee.

Now the father of one claims California has “temporarily suspended” his concealed carry permit.

“California has now decided to suspend my Second Amendment,” he said in a video posted by the National Rifle Association (NRA). “In an effort to protect my family, I pulled out a gun and returned fire. As a result of that night, the state of California has temporarily suspended my ability to conceal carry.

Vince Ricci defended his home from intruders earlier this month and now claims the State of California has “temporarily suspended” his concealed carry license. His wife and five-month-old baby were at home when criminals held him at gunpoint.

“This is an attempt to make me vulnerable at a very important time for me to maintain my ability to protect my family,” he said.

Violent crime overall decreased by 0.1%. However, burglary arrests rose 8.5%, according to the LAPD.

Ricci said the situation was “unique” because it was caught on his home surveillance camera, but stressed that many LA crimes don’t have the same luxury.

He claims the Democratic-led city is “sweeping it under the rug because it doesn’t fit their political agenda.”

The New York native, who had a five-month-old baby who was at home at the time of the attack, said that LA residents only have themselves and the Second Amendment to protect themselves from the dangers lurking on the streets.

LA DA George Gascon has been criticized for his soft-on-crime policies that have resulted in criminals being released onto the streets.
