Chabert Remains Comfortable With Feature Amid Candace Cameron Bure’s Controversial Relationship With Network

Hallmark Channel has been in the news several times in 2022.

Candace Cameron Bure, the “Fuller House” actress and former Hallmark Channel regular, is leaving the network after being a fixture since 2008.

The Blast has covered Bure’s relationship with the Hallmark Channel extensively; Bure would leave the network to find a different network that would allow him the freedom to participate in more ‘faith-based’ programming.

Cameron Bure will join the crew on the network’s American Big Family in April. GAF’s CEO, Bill Abbott, previously served as CEO of Crown Media, the parent company of the Hallmark Channel. Abbott retired from the position two years ago following “same-sex advertising issues” with Hallmark.

Hallmark and The Great American Family Network will make headlines in November after Cameron Bure will sit down for an interview with the Wall Street Journal.

In the interview, Cameron Bure talked about his relationship with the new network, saying, “I think American Big Family will keep the traditional marriage at its core. [of their programming.] (per The Blast)

Entertainer JoJo Siwa will publicly call out the “Full House” cast for her comments on social media following the interview.

Cameron Bure has received a lot of criticism over her statement, but one celebrity will remain neutral about her comments.

“The Wonder Years” actress Danica McKellar will disagree with her co-star Neal Bledsoe in her criticism of Cameron Bure’s statement.

McKellar, who played Winnie Cooper in the 1990s series about 1960s nostalgia, recently converted to Christianity, as will be discussed on social media, discussing her disapproval of Bledsoe’s comments.

“He is a great actor and I really enjoyed working with him. He and I both share our love and support for the LGBT community for sure… [but] I disagree with his interpretation of his comments. I just don’t see them the same way,” McKellar told Fox News Digital. (per The Blast)

Chabert, for his part, remains steadfast in his dedication to the network.

Referring to Cameron Bure’s comments, Chabert would say, “Any changes I feel have received our creative ideas. And it is my responsibility to the viewers who continue to watch my films that I give the best that I have to offer. That has always been my mission. I will never let go of what Hallmark means to me, which is that everything is centered around the heart. I don’t think there are any plans for that to change anytime soon.” (via Various)
