Award-winning singer and actress Lady Gaga has written another tribute to her friend, mentor and musical partner, Tony Bennett.
Lady Gaga took to her Instagram page to share a sweet message, celebrating Bennett on his 97th birthday.
Bennett died on July 21 following a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s. The famous singer is known for his unique voice and timeless hit music.

Singer Lady Gaga has chosen to celebrate her late friend Bennett’s birthday with a heartfelt message, stressing how much she misses him.
On her Instagram page, the “Bad Romance” singer stated that she would celebrate Bennett more than once a year.
“Happy Birthday Tony. August 3rd is Tony Bennett Day,” Lady Gaga began.
“A day to smile. But I will celebrate you more than once a year. I will celebrate you every time I am on stage singing jazz music, every time I am with your family, every time I walk the streets of New York, I will look around and remember all that you have done for this city and the whole world. “
Lady Gaga and Bennett are frequent musical collaborators on two Grammy award-winning albums; “Cheek to Cheek” in 2014 and “Love for Sale” in 2021.

Following her emotional tribute to the late legend, Lady Gaga fans took to the comments section of her post to join her in wishing Bennett a happy birthday.
“I send you a big hug, Tony will always be with you, take care and guide you! Now you have an angel watching over you from heaven!! I love you thank you Lady Gaga for being my Tony,” one fan wrote.
“He will always be with us all thanks to his music and you, and thanks to the human legacy he left us. Happy birthday, Tony,” another fan wrote.
A third fan said, “I know you will miss this sweet soul but, remember all the positive things you and Tony did. Remember “Straight Ahead” and don’t look back. I hope you are well. Love U Angel.”
Another fan wished Bennett a happy birthday while showing the beautiful Lady Gaga looking in the photo, which she took in New York City.

After the shocking death of the “New York State of Mind” singer, Lady Gaga took to her social media to share how much she misses her mentor. The Oscar winner took a few days before sharing her grief online.
In a long and heartbreaking post, Lady Gaga wrote about their precious moments together and how Bennett influenced her music and guided her in her career as an artist.
“I will miss my friend forever. I will miss singing with him, recording with him, talking with him, being on stage with him. With Tony, I had to live my life in a time warp. Tony & I have this magical power. We transported ourselves to another era, modernized the music together, & gave it all new life as a singing duo,” wrote Lady Gaga.
He continued, “Our relationship is very real. Of course he taught me about music, about showbiz life, but he also showed me how to keep my spirits up and my head screwed on.”

In her heartfelt message, the “Born This Way” singer wrote about her final moments with Bennett and how she mourns his loss.
She said, “I’ve been grieving the loss of Tony for a long time. We had a very long and effective goodbye. Even though there are 5 decades between us, he is my friend. My true friend.”
Lady Gaga stated that their age difference was never a problem and instead only strengthened their friendship, as they were both able to learn from each other in unique ways.
“Our age difference doesn’t matter – in fact, it gives us something that most people don’t have between us. We’re from two different stages of life—completely inspired,” he wrote.
Although Bennett battled Alzheimer’s in his final days, the icon’s life was always filled with music and joy. A statement from the late singer’s representative revealed that he died while singing his first number one hit, “Because of You,” at his piano.
