Robert ‘Rob’ England Grant, Jr. did more than touch the heart when he sent a special message to the award-winning talent for his 38th birthday. Shared via social media, the sweet gesture comes after the 70-year-old took a cue from her daughter’s famous success and launched her music career.

While Del Rey fans are used to seeing how involved Grant is in her daughter’s life and career, that didn’t stop them from getting carried away with her lavish birthday tribute to the star.
The father of three took to his Instagram page before dawn today, June 21, to post a racy image of him and the “Summertime Sadness” frontman smiling at each other. Underneath the picture, the doting dad wrote:
“Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter! Life has taken us down a very unexpected path…but a beautiful path. It’s the greatest gift to be able to share music together. And has written such a beautiful song with you. The world is a better place because of the beauty you bring to it. Thank you for your love…and your shining soul.”

In addition to liking the post nearly 28k times, several fans took to the comments section to express their congratulations. Someone wrote, “Honestly, to say she’s just a beautiful voice is an understatement, especially when, as an admirer of hers, I can’t find the words to describe her unique beauty.”

The Blast reports that Del Rey ended the month of May by returning to the stage after a four-year hiatus in style. The “Say Yes To Heaven” hitmaker has appeared as one of the headliners at the recently held Mita Festival in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, channeling legendary actress Marilyn Monroe.
She paired a black quarter-sleeve top with a matching skirt, a belt with a gold metal buckle and gold ankle strap heels. The “Happiness is a Butterfly” singer completed her look with a platinum blonde hairdo reminiscent of the type worn by screen goddesses.
Del Rey, who has performed with such notable artists as Haim, Florence and The Machine, and Sabrina Carpenter, sang a song from her newly released album, “Did You Know There’s a Tunnel Under the Ocean Blvd.”
While off stage, the NME Award winner is a frequent face on late-night talk shows and also won the Visionary Award at Billboard’s Women in Music 2023 event. Accepting the honor, the Grammy Award nominee said:
“I don’t have a long-term vision at all, but if you want to know, I’m very, very happy. When I released my first album 14 years ago, the water wasn’t so hot. I’m so happy for everyone who feels like it’s a wonderful time in the culture to be themselves and express themselves. It didn’t feel like that in 2008.”
