While it’s not clear what Celeste means by “healing era,” people are aware of Lauren Drain’s past, which could contribute to the meaning of the post.

In the past, Lauren Drain Kagan has been open about how she lost the support of her family after she decided that she was the Westboro Baptist Church, which is notorious for its “homophobic pickets”.

When the fitness model left the church, she said she was “banned” from her family. “I was indoctrinated into the cult as a child but later expelled for disobedience. Sent to a motel room with nothing more than a suitcase, I was forbidden to communicate with my siblings and family,” she wrote on her website. “We haven’t spoken since.”

“I’ve tried many times to stay in touch with my family,” Drain said in an interview with Fox News. “Unfortunately my father did not give me the space to do so. I have tried to contact my mother. He gave me feedback over the years, but not with any of my siblings. … I have done everything I can to contact them. I continue to do so.”

He continued, “It’s hard because when you get feedback from your parents that it’s not wanted, you’re cut off from the family, you’re like a scapegoat,” he continued. “… I keep hoping. I always want my siblings to know I’m there for them. I am always here for them. If they want to call me, I’m here.”

Drain continues to speak out and encourage others when looking to the future. “I had to rebuild my whole life while looking through the hourglass at the family and friends I once had. Since then, I have spoken at universities, conferences, and many other events to help educate people about the power of hate and brainwashing,” he wrote on his website. “I’ve started a charity to help others escape cults, written a book, photographed for NOH8, and more. In short, it doesn’t matter where you are in life or how bad it looks; I am living proof that if you just put one foot in front of the other – you are moving forward. You are making progress, however small it may be.”
