Lee Whitlock Passed Away At The Age Of 54

Lee Whitlock, a British TV and film actor renowned for roles in films such as Wish You Were Here, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street, and others, died on Monday, February 20 at the age of 54, according to his acting agency. The actor, who played Bevis Loveday in four episodes of the BBC One TV serial Grange Hill, has been in the business for more than four decades. On Monday, his firm, Urban Collective, tweeted to tell its fans of Lee Whitlock’s death. The tweet says as follows:

British novelist Matthew Todd recalled Whitlock’s performance on Two of Us while noting that the late actor first gained notoriety on Shine on Harvey Moon, an ’80s program in which Whitlock appeared 41 times. Liam Rudden, a writer, journalist, and theatrical director, also expressed his feelings on Twitter. Another person said Whitlock’s Two of Us helped them “come to grips with their identity” and that they regarded the actor in “high regard.”
