In 1991, Orser made his television debut in the series Gabriel’s Fire. Guest appearances on The Golden Girls, Cheers, LA Law, The X-Files, NYPD Blue, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation followed. He describes Dr. Arthur Zeller in The Outer Limits episode “Descent” in 1999. In the 1995 film Seven, he portrayed a man forced to kill a prostitute.
