The dating world can be tough, but being a celebrity can bring a whole new level of difficulty. Singer Lewis Capaldi, 25, was recently kicked out of three dating apps and not for anything he did or could control. On last week’s episode of “Diary of a CEO” with Steven Bartlett’s podcast, he discussed his love life issues, and why he believes he keeps getting kicked out of the app.

Capaldi Has Started Several Dating Apps
“I just got kicked off Tinder because I thought people thought I was fake,” she said. “So I got fired from Bumble, Tinder, Hinge, and Hinge is the only one, I love Tinder, Tinder is great, but Hinge is what I want because I feel like in my mid-20s, that’s what people do.” The singer said he was “in a bunch” of dating apps, and he met his last girlfriend on Tinder. “Someone told me to use their app called Feeld, and I was like, ‘Cool, it’s another dating app, whatever.’ And I went on it, and it was like very sexual,” she explained. “And I was like, ‘This is way beyond anything I’m interested in.’

Being Famous Sometimes Makes It Hard To Meet New People
Capaldi added, “If I meet the right person, I’ll be surprised,” he said. “But now it’s a bit unfair to others, they should be human enough to understand.” When asked if being famous gave him issues with the belief that people pick the wrong excuses when meeting someone new, Capaldi said, “yes, absolutely.” He further explained that “more girls are interested in me now than a few years ago.” “People feel like they know you, they see your personality, and how you make them laugh,” she said.

Capaldi Was Recently Diagnosed With Tourette’s Syndrome
Earlier this month, PEOPLE reported that Capaldi revealed he was diagnosed with Tourette syndrome on Instagram Live. He explained that he always had it despite not knowing what it was, and also said his shoulders twitched because of it. “The worst thing is when I’m excited I get it, when I’m depressed I get it, when I’m happy I get it. It happens all the time,” he explained. “Some days it hurts more than others, and some days it hurts less. It looks a lot worse than it is. Sometimes it’s a little uncomfortable, but it comes and goes.” She also told her followers that she originally thought she had a “horrible degenerative disease,” and that the diagnosis “made a lot of sense” after she noticed the cramps in an old interview from years ago.
Capaldi decided to talk about the disorder because he didn’t want people to think he was “taking cocaine.” “I do shrugs quite a lot. And you see under every TikTok and stuff, people say, ‘Why is he twitching?’ which is good,” he said. “It’s okay to be curious. I understand. It’s a new thing, I haven’t learned much about it – I’m learning. I had Botox in my shoulder to stop it moving. It works instantly.”
