Capaldi poured his heart out in the candid post. “The fact that this probably won’t come as a surprise doesn’t make it any easier to write, but I’m very sorry to tell you that I’ll be taking a break from touring for the foreseeable future,” he wrote.
He shared his personal reasons. “I’ve been able to enjoy every moment of a show like this and I hope the next 3 weeks will finish me. But the truth is I’m still learning to adapt to the impact of my Tourette’s and on Saturday it was clear that I need to spend more time on my mental and physical health, so that I can continue to do everything I love for a long time.”
He apologized profusely and thanked the friends and family who helped him make the decision and the fans who understood and accepted him.
