Liam Gallagher Joins Nepo Baby Convo, Hits Hard At Criticism

Liam Gallagher has dropped his views on the ongoing ‘nepo baby’ debate.

Since the publication of the article “An All But Definitive Guide To The Hollywood Nepo-Verse” last December, several prominent figures from the entertainment industry have shared their thoughts on the conversation.

So far, the list includes Lily Allen, Jamie Lee Curtis, Zoë Kravitz, and Kate Hudson, whose face is one of those emblazoned on the cover of the article. With his views, Gallagher has confirmed that he is not bothered by the criticism of children who build their careers through the fame of their parents.

Liam Gallagher Asks Baby Nepo Critics To “Zip” In Social Media String

As the back-and-forth over ‘nepo babies’ continues, Liam has called those who have a problem with celebrity children working for their fame “jealous”. The “Don’t Look Back in Anger” singer shared her thoughts on Tuesday in the tweet read:

“All these rants about famous kids getting crusted [at] at least they didn’t go out and rob the zip old man ya jealous ugly f**ks LG x.”

Although it seemed a bit harsh, no real fans of the rocker were surprised by the outburst when one responded, “He’s humble and a little smart.” The second person claimed, “the nepo baby debate is now over. the floor is closed to questions,” and a third explains, “There’s nothing wrong with affluent children succeeding; the problem is that rich kids pretend to be poor.”

“Always can count on Liam to get it right!” A fourth fan shouted. However, some critics noted the blessing his children enjoyed due to his popularity, with one conjecture, “one of his children just did nepotism.”

One Twitter user asked him, “Lennon destroyed the Burberry show. What do you think? Is he cooler than you?” In response, Liam tweeted, “He’s at the moment because I’m busy, but I’ll be back smarter than ever.”

In case you missed it, the “Stand By Me” singer’s son Lennon walked Burberry at the just-concluded London Fashion Week. The 23-year-old is a professional model who made her runway debut in 2017 and became the face of Saint Laurent menswear in 2018.

Besides Lennon, Liam is also father to son Gene and daughters Gemma and Molly. Like Lennon, Molly and Gene are models, with the latter performing as a drummer alongside her father during last year’s Etihad Stadium show.

While the Gallagher kids have yet to share their thoughts on the nepo baby controversy, Hudson has no problem expressing how unconcerned she is about being called out. As reported by The Blast, the actress – who was born to screen star Goldie Hawn and musician Bill Hudson – said during an interview:

“I actually think there are other industries where it belongs [more common]. Maybe modeling? I see it in a business way more than I see it in Hollywood. Sometimes I’m in a business meeting where I’m like, wait, whose kid is this? Like, this person doesn’t know anything!”

The mother of three added that being born to famous parents has nothing to do with success, claiming, “If you work hard and you kill it, that’s fine.”

Scottish Music Award Winner Not Optimistic About Reuniting With Former Band

The Blast observed last May that Liam spoke about his relationship with his estranged brother, Noel, during an interview. Before the two broke up, they were part of an English rock group called Oasis, originally known as The Rain, along with Paul McGuigan, Paul Arthurs, and Tony McCarroll.

Although the group produced some absolute hits throughout their decades-long career, it was plagued with drama, including many moments of firing and hiring. They finally split in 2009 due to alleged incessant feuding between Liam and Noel — an incident that hasn’t changed since.

While Liam admitted his regrets about the band’s split, considering how big they were at the time, fans shouldn’t hold their breath for a reconciliation.

“I like to think Oasis will get back together, but not this week. The door is open on everything. I wouldn’t be surprised if aliens landed tomorrow. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were already here. I wouldn’t be surprised if God walked among us. I wouldn’t be surprised by any kind,” Liam declared.
