The former One Direction member has been absent from her socials for the past few months and while this isn’t a big deal for her, it’s not like she’s posting like crazy, but it’s different from what her fans are used to.
Payne shared in a short video “Sorry for [being] MIA. You know there are several reasons why I do that and I just need to spend some time for myself,” he said. “I kind of became someone I didn’t know and I’m sure you didn’t either,” the 29-year-old revealed.
He revealed that he went to rehab to recover and is now “back” and starting over.

Bander’s ex-boyfriend revealed that he checked into a “beautiful place in Louisiana” where he went to “get [his] straight head.” He also revealed that he discovered some new talents such as drawing, along with writing music and poetry.
Payne, looking happy and bright at the moment shared that she was “in bad shape up until that point.” He explained. “I was really happy more than anything when I arrived to put a stop to life and work. I haven’t had my phone for almost 100 days.”
“I was completely out of touch with the outside world and it kind of prepared me for that time,” he revealed. “When it was gone the hardest thing was actually turning the phone back on … because it was quite scary.”

Although the artist took time to brag about the facility and his time away, he said he was “very lucky.” He also revealed that while it was fun for 100 days, he said it was “a great world to be back in.”
He continued. “Thank you all at home and thank you for this wonderful life that I have.” He took the time to release his former partner Cheryl Cole and their cheater bear for repeated support.
“There’s no point in trying to be a dad when you have nothing to teach,” he said. “I don’t think up until this point I had much to say to him other than just loving him very deeply.” Because these moments are cut off, he has “more grip” and “more hold” on things that eluded him before.
