In an Instagram post yesterday, Lil Nas shared a photo of him getting his first tattoo. The artist’s face in the first photo is contorted as if in pain as a tattoo artist works on his arm. The overreaction in the picture led to some jokes from her fans. Lil Nas captioned the post, “already got my first tattoo.”

The Grammy winner wore a lime green t-shirt under a mint green Dior puffer coat while sporting a tattoo on her arm. Another photo shows Lil Nas displaying the finished product on the inside of his wrist.

A few months before his tattoo position, the artist revealed that he was too scared to ink his skin, which some fans pointed out in his comments section. Twitter posts read“the reason I don’t have a tattoo yet isn’t anything philosophical or deep, I’m just too p*ssy.”

Lil Nas’ followers seemed to find his facial reaction in a recent post funny, and several others asked the artist what the tattooed symbol meant. “Not knowing if you’re yawning or if getting a tattoo is so painful,” one person wrote. “It looks so good you have to tell us what it means,” another fan commented.

“UR FACE IN FIRST PIC LMAOAOAO” wrote one fan. A separate comment, however, claimed that Lil Nas was not in pain as the picture showed. “Too late. obviously she just did that face for the picture..”

Another comment read, “I got my whole arm done, and somehow you managed to pick the most painful spot for me to get done as the area to get yours.”

“I was so nervous to go out on stage in front of my family and everyone in my cute little Coach skirt,” Lil Nas said. “But once I got out, I felt like I was releasing my younger self. Afterward, my family — many of whom used to believe in everything that was the opposite of what was on that stage — told me they were so proud. I think I’m changing my mind.”

While not sure what prompted the artist to be charged despite his previous reluctance, his Montero Long Live Tour comes to mind. Lil Nas just finished the first two legs of his tour and may be hitting the tattoo parlor to celebrate the milestone.

The Montero Long Live Tour kicks off September 6 at the Detroit Fox Theater. During the first leg of the tour, which ended on October 23, the artist performed at locations around North America and concluded his act in San Francisco.

By early November, Lil Nas resurfaced but made few appearances in European countries. “INDUSTRY BABY” artists performed in Paris, London, Amsterdam, Brussels and Hamburg. He finished that leg of the tour on Thursday in Barcelona.

The third leg of Montero’s Long Live Tour will be in the Oceania region and begins on January 14 in Sydney.
