In a candid revelation, the “Smile” hitmaker recently opened up about her struggles with the loss of her late son, the traumatic ordeal she faced, and her alleged sexual assault.

Allen, 38, who is known for his unfiltered honesty, said he was “done being on the front lines” as he grappled with the deep sadness that had permeated his life. She revealed that she had never “successfully reconnected” after she lost her son before meeting him in 2010.

“People might think I’m backsliding, but I’m done being on the front lines,” he said Hunger Magazine. “There was my stillborn child, stalking incidents, sexual assaults.”

She added, “I felt myself leaving my body when it happened, and I don’t think I ever managed to reconnect.”

Allen and her then-partner Sam Cooper were dealing with the tragic loss of their son, who was stillborn at six months. The experience was undoubtedly traumatic for the couple, and she has since spoken of the immense pain and emotional toll it has had on her life.

“I went to see someone, and they said: ‘Have you ever thought about this?’ And I said: ‘Well, yes, I have.'”
