During a press interview at the Cannes Film Festival, she said that Jocelyn’s overly sensual character was an important part of her personality as “a born and bred entertainer” and that it should not be ignored.
The actress said of Jocelyn, “‘The way she dresses, for example, is that she’s trying to tell you something all the time … or express her feelings in some kind of way.’
He added, “I also think that the stupidity of the character physically reflects the stupidity that we can see emotionally in him.”
Despite criticism of “The Idol” as a soft porn show by many news outlets, it received a five-minute standing ovation at Cannes, where it premiered on Monday.

However, at the time, Lily-Rose defended the director’s work in an interview, describing him as “the best director” she had ever worked with.

The New York Times calling the show “a Pornhub homepage adventure.” Likewise, Diversity said the risque scenes were inappropriate for the Cannes Film Festival.

Joining Johnny in the cast are Benjamin Lavernhe and Maïwenn, who acts as the project director.
