Now the mother-of-two recently made a “core memory” with her two-year-old daughter, Sage, as they skated together.
Arnold shared a video of the experience, showing the professional dancer standing on a surfboard while holding his daughter, Sage. Later in the video, Sage can be seen standing between Arnold’s legs while a professional dancer balances on a surfboard.
“Core memories ? so proud of our sweet and brave girl! Looking forward to more of these fun firsts with my Sagey girl ❤️,” she captioned the post.
Arnold’s Surfing Video Stirs Controversy

Many of his fans took to the comments section to express concern over Arnold’s video, worrying about Sage’s safety. “I see mom is strong and has great balance. But am I the only one who thinks this is too high risk and dangerous for babies? ?,” one fan wrote while another commented, “Kids are not props or toys to use to show off our own prowess. I am personally disappointed with the decision to do this at such a young age. It shows poor judgment.”
Others couldn’t get over how balanced and talented Arnold was, writing things like “I don’t know about anyone else here but I’m like so impressed with you Linds for doing that with one hand and no hands with smaller people. lol ermmmmm icon!” !!!!” and “The fact that you can pick it up like you’re not surfing is so amazing ???.”
Another said, “That’s trust there. He is brave because he trusts his mother. And HOLY are you strong!,” while one user stated, “Your core strength after just having a baby ? is the cutest thing ever!!!”
One of Arnold’s fans wrote, “All those swimming lessons taught Sage not to be afraid of the water. Well done Sagey girl!! ?♀️,” as another chimed in, “The strength it takes to do this, wow! ? What an inspiration, and Sage does it well!”

Just weeks before the latest season of “Dancing With the Stars” began, Lindsay Arnold announced she was leaving the show.
“I want to let you all know that I have decided not to be a part of Dancing with the Stars this season,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself, husband and daughter Sage. “This is one of the most difficult decisions to make but in the end I have chosen what I feel is best for myself and my family. DWTS has been a part of my life for over 10 years now and when I say I love the show with all my heart, I mean it!! This show has changed my life forever and will always mean a lot to me.”
She went on to explain the reason behind the decision, writing, “As most of you know my family and I live in UT and to do DWTS I had to move myself and my daughter Sage to LA and leave my husband Sam who works full time here in Utah. Logically, there was a lot involved in making this happen and there were a lot of sacrifices that had to be made that unfortunately we just didn’t feel right this time.”
