Lindsay Arnold Opens Up About Complications

Arnold’s pregnancy included some scary complications, as the mother of two opened up in a recent Instagram post about how she had to undergo a C-section.

“They checked my dilation, and I was at 4cm; checked the baby girl’s position, and she was still breech (had been breech since 30 weeks), so they called my doctor, and he said it was time to take the baby girl out and move forward with the ac section,” she shared.

Lindsay Arnold later revealed she could watch most of the delivery through a plastic curtain, and she saw her daughter, June, come out bottom first.

“When it came time for her head to come out, that’s when we could see that the cord was wrapped around the baby girl’s neck,” Arnold wrote, explaining why she was breech. “It was hard for them to pull his head out, and the cord was compressing around his neck as they pulled. When they finally got her head out, they quickly untied it, and it wrapped around our sweet girl’s neck six times. An awesome and shocking moment for everyone in the room,” he continued to explain on Instagram.

“They quickly and effectively worked to get the baby girl breathing and alert, which took several minutes… those minutes felt like forever, but we were very lucky that the baby girl came and started breathing on her own,” he added.

Both Lindsay Arnold and June are happy and healthy.
