“Dancing With the Stars” alum Lindsay Arnold and her husband Samuel Lightner Cusick announced they are expecting their second child together following complications.
” Sam and I are very excited to announce that we are pregnant with baby No. 2!” he shared last year. “I can’t wait to take you with me on my pregnancy journey and what it means for my new fitness platform, The Movement Club.”
The news comes after the 28-year-old revealed she was suffering from fertility problems. “When you get a positive pregnancy test, and then you start your ? a few days later, but your sweet daughter is there for you every step of the way…” she wrote alongside the video in August.
Now, the former “Dancing With the Stars” pro welcomed her baby girl into the world as she announced she gave birth on May 4, 2023.

Lindsay Arnold has been taking her fans through her pregnancy journey for the past nine months, and it’s now over because this evening, she shared she gave birth to her baby girl.
“Baby girl is here and we are so in love,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself, her husband, and their newborn. “Mama and baby are doing well and we are enjoying every minute with our little piece of Heaven ? thank you for all the love we will share soon ?.”
The “Dancing With the Stars” account commented, “Congratulations, so happy for you both! ??” as television personality Lauren Zima said, “Ahhhh CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! You look so happy and beautiful!”
Fellow “Dancing With the Stars” pro dancer Jenna Johnson chimed in, “SHE’S PERFECT!!!!! So proud of you ?,” as was pro Emma Slater, who wrote, “yesssssss!!! He’s here!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Congratulations guys!”

Other fans began guessing the baby girl’s name when one user commented, “Would guess her name Heaven ? // Congrats on your growing beautiful family,” as another wrote, “Ok… Heaven capitalized. Is that a low hint on that name??.”

While others continued to “congratulate” the couple as fans commented, “Omg I’m so excited !! He’s so cute!!!!!!!” and “YAYYYY he’s here! love u guys congratulations ??.”
Lindsay Arnold previously revealed the fertility issues she faced, making her nervous about entering her second pregnancy. “Going into the next one, I’m really nervous,” she told E! News. “I’m cautiously optimistic, but I also have a really peaceful sense of content about it. I feel like it’s right. I think it’s our time.”
Now that the two have welcomed their baby girl into the world, Arnold joked about his intuition, as he admitted he’s positive he’s having a baby boy. “I was a million percent sure that I was having a boy for my first pregnancy and I was obviously wrong,” she said. “Now I feel like I can’t trust my gut. I will know soon.”
