Senator Lindsey Graham slammed the United Nations as “the most antisemitic body on the planet” after the UN General Assembly passed a resolution calling for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war.
A non-binding resolution calling for a “humanitarian ceasefire” in Gaza was adopted by the 193-member world body on Friday in a 120-14 vote and was the first UN response to the war.
“Let me tell you about the UN now, it is the most antisemitic body on the planet,” Graham told Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Monday night.
“To ask Israel to call a ceasefire after their people were slaughtered more brutally than the Nazis, had children beheaded, women raped in front of their parents; The UN is wrong,” the South Carolina Republican said.
The resolution was passed after Hamas terrorists killed more than 1,400 Israelis in a sickening October 7 attack on the Jewish state.
“This is when there will be a ceasefire — when Hamas is no longer a threat to Israel,” Graham said. “Then and only then will we have a truce.”
The US, Israel, five Pacific island nations and four European nations all voted against the Arab-drafted resolution.

A Canadian amendment to a US-backed UN resolution would have indirectly condemned Hamas terror attacks and demanded the immediate release of hostages held by Hamas, but the proposed change was rejected when it failed to get a two-thirds majority.
Israel vows to continue waging war until all hostages are released and Hamas’ terrorist capabilities are destroyed.
The Hamas-run Gaza Ministry of Health claims more than 7,000 Palestinians have been killed in retaliatory airstrikes by Israel.
