Since their incarceration, Lindsie has never shied away from sharing her heavy thoughts with her 673k Instagram followers, finally accepting the whole situation and taking everything in stride.

After allowing her followers to ask anything on her Instagram Stories during a Q&A session, she shared a few questions, including one wondering if she’d been able to see her parents again.

The same fan also asked if she planned to bring Jack with her, and she replied, “I’ve been able to visit. Everything is new for everyone, and adjustment takes time.” He continued, “Jackson is communicating, and about the tour until I talk to Will, I’m not comfortable answering that yet.”

The fan’s questions and answers were attached to an adorable photo of her toddler lying in bed, covered in a white sheet, and playing a game with unwavering focus. A second follower asked, as seen in another Story update, “How are you emotionally with your parents right now? Does Jackson ask a lot of questions?”

In response, Lindsie mentioned that she had previously addressed similar questions on her podcast, “The Southern Tea,” and still went on to cover it again.

“Most kids ask a lot of questions,” he wrote. “Some things are easier to explain than others. I have believed in myself and my ability to parent him – I may have navigated differently than others, but we all know our children best.”

Also, given her son’s young age, the reality star believes it’s important for her to “keep things simple and not too complicated.” He then concluded, “I will link [podcast] episode here; it’s current [sic] Q&A section – [three red heart emojis] @thesouthernteapodcast.”

The 33-year-old’s Q&A session with fans came after it was confirmed that Lindsie was one of her father’s first visitors at the Pensacola Federal Correctional Institute in Florida with her mother, Nanny Faye.

The Blast reports that less than a week after the patriarch was locked up, he received his first visitor in his daughter and her mother. Not sure if Julie was also visited. Before going to see her dad in prison, Lindsie talked about an unscheduled road trip in an episode of “The Southern Tea” podcast but didn’t specify the reason for the trip.

Also, he mentioned visiting the beach, sparking a conversation about where he was. He shared, “Last weekend, there was news about people trying to find out what beach I was on and why I was there. If it’s my parents’ beach house, if it’s a new condo.”

The influence doesn’t explain much but further into the episode, he sheds more light on his family adjusting to their new reality. He acknowledged his family’s struggles over the past year with his parents, and while the outcome was not what they had hoped for, there was a “sense of peace and closure”, which gave them a chance to adjust.

She discussed the harrowing experience in a recent Instagram feed, indicating that she has embraced the changes in her life. The video is a collection of photos taken days before his parents’ bond hearing when he had “high hopes” and was living in prayer.

The TV personality revealed this in a lengthy caption, adding that God had other plans even though his family was saddened by the decision. Afterwards, he stated that things may look so perfect on social media, but behind the smile, people face different situations, proving that no one knows when someone is facing a challenge.

Lindsie believes life is a mess for everyone and advises fans to stop telling themselves it should be “perfect” or expecting “something that no one has.”
