Lindsie Chrisley Had Huge Fears About How ‘Chrisleys Knows Best’ Would Affect Parents In Jail

Lindsie Chrisley Worries ‘Chrisley Knows Best’ Screening Will Impact Her Parents In Jail

In a new episode of her “Southern Tea” podcast, Lindsie talks prison reform with Justin Paperny, a prison consultant. He also shared his earlier concerns about their reality show affecting his parents in prison.

The 33-year-old began voicing his fears by saying, “There are concerns for me before the date of my parents’ report. You know, you want to be strong and tell them everything is going to be okay. Even if you question whether everything will be alright.”

He continued, “One of my biggest concerns is access to television.” Before asking Paperny if she thought people who had seen their family’s show, “Chrisley Knows Best,” were serving at this camp.”

He immediately replied, “And in short, I know the answer now. It is.” With Paperny saying, “It’s a popular show.” However, despite her fears, Lindsie shared an encouraging account of how her parents were treated.

“You know my parents welcomed me with open arms, and I feel very blessed by that,” the actress explained. “Because I’ve heard other people report and that’s not the case. So I feel like we’re blessed in that regard.”

The podcaster added that his dad is starting to adjust to him and making new friends as well. “The spirit is great,” he explained. “He just accepts the process there and makes the best of the process there with the people who are also there serving him. He made good friends. He talked about his friends there.”

He kept updating the businessman’s well-being when he visited him, highlighting his appearance. She said, “I can’t stop telling her how great she is. I said, ‘Even your hair looks better, a little longer and grey.’ His nails are not fully bitten.”

The mother-of-one previously spoke about visiting her parents and how it affected her son Jack, who she shares with Will Campbell. As reported by The Blast, the reality star admitted to visiting her parents through a Q&A segment on her Instagram.

A curious fan had asked if he had seen his parents after they were incarcerated and if he planned for his son to visit his grandparents as well. He replied, “I have been able to visit. Everything is new for everyone, and adjustment takes time.” “Jackson is communicating, and about the visit until I talk to Will, I’m not comfortable answering that yet.”

Another follower asked the TV star, “How do you feel about your parents? Does Jackson ask a lot of questions?” She replied, “Most children ask a lot of questions. Some things are easier to explain than others. I have trusted myself and my ability to parent them – I may have navigated differently than others, but we all know children better -our child.”

‘Southern Tea’ Podcaster Recalls The Day Before His Parental Bond Hearing

Shortly after the businessman and his wife reported to their prison camp, their first daughter recalled the days of their trial. Lindsie uploaded a clip on Instagram showing her smiling as she had high hopes for her parents’ trial.

In the caption of the reel, the TV personality admitted to hoping for a positive outcome for his parents. She wrote, “I couldn’t have said it better myself. These photos were taken a few days before my parents’ bond hearing, high hopes & living in prayer. Not the decision we want to hear, but God has other plans.”

Lindsie uses her family’s reality to emphasize life’s challenges. He wrote, “Funny how life can change in an instant. Everything can look perfect on social media, but behind all the smiles are different situations we all face. Proof that you never know what someone is fighting for.”
