Lisa Marie Presley’s ex-husband, Michael Lockwood, has filed to represent their daughters Harper and Finley in the upcoming hearing regarding the late singer’s will.
The guitarist filed for a “guardian ad litem,” which allows him to speak for 14-year-olds who are considered minors and need help protecting their rights in court.
Lisa Marie’s will was mostly championed by her mother, Priscilla Presley, and her daughter Riley Keough. The latter was appointed along with his late brother Benjamin Keough as co-trustees of the singer’s estate following the 2016 amendment.

Lockwood has asked the court for help to allow him to represent his twin daughters, whom he shares with his ex, Lisa Marie, each Page Six. The 61-year-old singer and the late were married for ten years before Lisa Marie filed for divorce in 2016.
Now, Lockwood, who feuded with Lisa Marie before her death, is asking her to be appointed “guardian ad litem” over his 14-year-old daughters Harper and Finley.
If the request is granted, it will give him the right to speak on their behalf in the upcoming hearing for his ex’s conviction and the duration of the lawsuit.
The trust was contested by Lisa Marie’s mother, Priscilla, who contested its validity, who ordered that her estate be given to her eldest daughter, Riley, and her son, Benjamin.
As part of the argument, he claimed that Lisa Marie’s signature on the 2016 amendment to the document appeared to be “inconsistent.” Earlier documents had listed Priscilla as one of the co-trustees of the late singer’s estate.

Following Priscilla’s move to contest the will, it was said that the late singer’s mother was only in it for the money and that Lisa Marie had distanced herself from “Priscilla, [her ex-husband] Michael Lockwood or his half brother [Navarone Garibaldi]” at the time of his death.
“Lisa doesn’t want anything to do with her mother,” shared her close friend. “He’s basically been estranged from Priscilla for the past seven to eight years. They only speak when there is no choice.”
It has also been reported that the court case has strained the relationship between Priscilla and Riley.
“Riley has been mourning the loss of her mother and is saddened by having to deal with a trust dispute with family members,” the source said, per Entertainment Tonight. The couple have since chosen to only communicate through their lawyers amid their ongoing feud.

“She’s upset that this has turned into a public matter and knows her mother wouldn’t want this,” the source said.
At the time, it was claimed that the whole ordeal left Riley feeling “very depressed,” although she had tried to “keep a positive attitude,” hoping the contents of the will would not be revoked.
Lisa Marie was buried at the Graceland mansion in Memphis, TN, where her idol son, Benjamin, was buried. Elvis Presley and other members of the late Presley family are also buried in the famous mansion.
