It’s been a hot few minutes since we’ve heard from the ladies of Little Mix as a whole.

However, that drought has been sprinkled with new content.

The three remaining ladies of Little Mix recently celebrated the 11-year anniversary of their “X Factor” win.

Little Mix’s official Instagram account shared a carousel showing Thirlwall, Edwards and Pinnock performing, attending an awards show and the three ladies hugging.

None of the photos or videos feature Nelson, who left the group in December 2020.

Pinnock shared the post to his Instagram Story over the weekend and wrote the caption, “11 years ago today we won the X factor. My sisters, I love and miss you ❤️.”

As previously mentioned, Nelson famously jumped out of the band in 2020 citing mental health concerns.

In a December 14, 2021 broadcast, Nelson explained to fans why he quit Little Mix.

He wrote, “The past nine years in Little Mix have been the most incredible time of my life. We’ve achieved things I never thought possible. … The recent truth of being in the band has really taken a toll on my mental health. I found the constant pressure to be in a girl group and live up to expectations very difficult.”

Nelson’s announcement continued, “There comes a time in life when we need to reinvest in taking care of ourselves instead of focusing on making other people happy and I think now is the time to start that process.”

So after “a lot of time and consideration and with a heavy heart” he announced his departure from Little Mix.

He added that he was about to start a new chapter in his life, but he wasn’t sure what it would look like.

However, by February 2021, he revealed he was embarking on a solo career.

Nelson has opened up about the mental toll the band took on him and how much better life has been since leaving Little Mix.

In a 2021 interview with Cosmopolitan UKNelson revealed that he felt “sad” about being part of the quartet.

“I always compare myself to others. Of course, a lot of it was in my head, but a lot of it was past the trauma,” Nelson admitted. “Even recently, I still get compared to them. It’s awful when you already don’t like something about yourself until thousands of people point it out. Now I feel like me. When I look back [at my time] in that group, I’m not really me. I can’t believe how miserable I am.”

His thoughts about being in Little Mix didn’t end there.

“I didn’t know that I could be this happy,” he also said. “I think when you’re in a band it’s normal to feel that way. And because I had felt that way for 10 years, I just thought, ‘This is life.’ Since I left, I feel free. I don’t wake up with anxiety, thinking, ‘I have to make a music video today, I have to starve myself.’ Or, ‘I need to go on an extreme diet so I can look like the other three.’ That eats me up.”
