Lizzo Embroiled In Fresh Sexual Harassment Allegations From Six More People Who Worked With Her

Lizzo was once again in the spotlight when six other individuals she worked with came forward with allegations of a “sexual environment” while they were on the road.

The new allegations follow earlier accusations by three of the singer’s former backup dancers, who accused him of weight shaming and sexual harassment at work.

Lizzo has since issued a statement to that effect, but her accusers slammed her response, stating that she did not give an “acknowledgement” of their “feelings”.

The individuals, who remain anonymous at this time, allege uncomfortable behavior and inappropriate comments occurred while they were on tour with the Grammy-winning artist.

According to the lawyer representing three of Lizzo’s former backup dancers, Ron Zambrano, his firm has investigated at least six new allegations of a “sexual environment” and failure to pay workers from people who claim to have worked with the singer, per NBC News.

The individuals involved include several dancers and others who say they work on her Amazon Studios reality show, “Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls.” Zambrano noted that when reviewing claims, some of them are actionable while others are not.

“Some of the allegations we are reviewing may be actionable, but it is too early to say,” he said.

The report of six new people alleging a “sexual environment” and Lizzo’s refusal to pay her employees comes after three of her former backup dancers, Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams and Noelle Rodriguez, filed lawsuits claiming they were sexually harassed and subjected to a hostile work environment during their work with him, follow Daily Mail.

The lawsuit details an incident that alarmed the “Lizzobangers” who allegedly humiliated them and forced one of them to engage in racist activities with strippers at a strip club.

It claims that Lizzo, whose real name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, invited “cast members to take turns touching nude performers” in an Amsterdam strip club.

He also allegedly encouraged “catching a dildo that was launched from the perpetrator’s vagina and eating a banana that protruded from the perpetrator’s vagina.”

Other allegations include religious harassment, disability discrimination, racial harassment and a hostile work environment.

Lizzo’s previous statement resurfaced as a video showing her interest in banana sex shows gained traction online.

The video, which dates back to 2019, captures the moment Lizzo talks to 3FM DJ Frank van der Lende, showing passion for the subject that is now at the center of the allegations against him.

In the video, the “About Damn Time” singer details her experience in Amsterdam’s Red Light District, known for its sex theaters, sex shops, and nude clubs and bars.

“It’s people in love, man. It is crazy. But you know, it’s beautiful,” he said, adding that he also witnessed a sex show where a couple “passionately make out” and “kiss.”

Per ExplosionLizzo has since responded to the allegations with a lengthy post on social media, stating that they were “excessive” while insisting that she was “not the villain” in the case.

“The last few days have been very difficult and very frustrating,” he wrote. “My work ethic, morals, and respect have been questioned. My character has been criticized. Normally, I choose not to respond to false allegations, but this is as unbelievable as it sounds and too outrageous not to address.”

He insisted that although he sometimes “had to make difficult decisions,” it was never his intention to make anyone feel inferior or unimportant. He also states that he takes his craft seriously and would do nothing to harm it.

“I am hurt but I will not let this overshadow the good work I am doing in the world. I want to thank everyone who has reached out to lift me up in this difficult time,” Lizzo concluded.

Complainants slammed his response, citing a “dismissive” and “lack of empathy” tone from him.
