Wright was reportedly not a man when he shot with Lizzo, and it turns out the relationship may have started before he left his previous relationship. Brooklyn’s Elizabeth Brown claims that Lizzo stole her man and was mean to her eventually making her feel uncomfortable on set.
In the nearly 10-minute TikTok, Brown explained she first met the singer in late 2016/17 when her then-boyfriend Wright co-hosted a show called Wonderland with Lizzo and, “no, she’s not that good,” confirms Brown.
This should come as no surprise to anyone who has been following the brutal story coming out through the lawsuit filed against the “Truth Hurts” singer.

Brown said in the video that he knows Lizzo isn’t his biggest fan but he’s not too worried because “the people around him are good like his sister looks good.” So, Brown ignored the pettiness that came from Lizzo stating that she’s already “in the celebrity scene” and has the attitude that comes with it.
“He’s got better things to do than talk to me,” Brown admitted but he was beginning to realize that his contempt for Brown was growing. Outside of work like a cool day at the beach, she still treats Brown like the most unloved child.
“He just didn’t like me,” Brown realized. “He didn’t say it was mean,” she admitted “but he was really shy or didn’t want to talk to me.”

Brown finally gives a clue and finds out that Lizzo and Wright have something going on so he immediately leaves and that’s it. It was the aftermath that really messed him up. “It was heartbreaking, I was with him for 10 years, I supported him through everything and when he finally got his big break, he left me for Lizzo.”
Lizzo is right, the truth hurts. It was hard on Brown’s mental health; he explained that he was trying to rationalize what had just happened and “be okay with this.” He broke the betrayal in a simple way.
“It wasn’t just ‘oh I broke up with my boyfriend,’ it was like ‘oh, I broke up with my boyfriend and he left me for someone who wasn’t so nice to me.’ And it turns out … a Grammy Award-winning celebrity and everyone in the world loves him and his message is like love and light and positivity, after knowing how he treated me but I didn’t want to say anything.”
Brown feared he would come across as a “whiny little baby.”

Brown candidly shared that Lizzo has been a trigger for him which has to be difficult because right now and in the last few years, she’s EVERYWHERE. At every award show, in the news all the time, honored for one thing or another.
Brown couldn’t ignore it even if he tried. “I quietly went through something very big and very difficult,” he admits. His “fight or flight response was triggered” when he heard his song on the radio, in an ad, etc.
“It was really hard, and I cried for so long and I felt so depressed,” she revealed, admitting to being in a “very bad place for years.”

Brown is willing to admit that all the blame cannot be placed on the Grammy-winning singer who is currently in a battle for her reputation while fighting allegations of sexual harassment from her former dancer.
Wright didn’t handle it well and “never” took responsibility for the scam, but Brown believes they both should have done better. “He could break up with me, he could, maybe suggest he break up with me before they start something.”
“It has lifted my spirit that he is not everything he says and I have known it for a long time… It is vindication!”
