He used to organize festivals of Shivaji and Ganpati in which Indians used to participate enthusiastically. Tilak had great faith in God and left no opportunity to worship the god he loved.

After getting higher education tilak worked as a lawyer and then as a teacher like his father. There were many issues in India at that time. Both the political and social conditions are not very good in this country which has troubled him. Tilak was ready to do anything for his country so he started by launching two newspapers “Maratha” in English and “Kesari” in Marathi in 1881.
