Lori Loughlin Gets Back To Celebrity Lifestyle After End Of Supervised Release

Lori Loughlin smiles as she slowly makes her way back into the public eye. The actor has been keeping a low profile since serving a prison sentence for his role in the college admissions scandal that rocked the United States in 2019.

She and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, pleaded guilty to the charges brought against them, with Loughlin sentenced to two months in prison that lasted from October 30, 2020 to December 28, 2020. She finally made her first appearance at an awards show on Friday, February 10, immediately after the completion of his release for two years under supervision.

Lori Loughlin Stuns On The Red Carpet At Her First Awards Ceremony Since Prison

As it was her first time attending an awards ceremony since leaving the Federal Correctional Institution, Dublin in Dublin, northern California, more than two years ago, Loughlin made sure she was dressed to the nines.

She arrived on the red carpet of the 30th annual Movieguide Awards looking beyond gorgeous in an eye-catching two-piece pink ensemble, which included knee-to-toe flared pants.

Opting for a darker shade for the inside of the shirt, Loughlin added a pair of matching pink heels and a box purse to her look. Her blonde hair was styled into a high bun, leaving a few tendrils falling on either side of her face.

The “North Shore and Rawhide” star seemed to be having fun catching up with her old friend and “Full House” co-star Candace Cameron Bure, who opted for a white mini dress and a pair of black pumps, according to Daily Mail.

Loughlin shared a hug with a red carpet photographer she knew before she headed to Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre, where the awards ceremony was held.

It’s worth noting that while the Movieguide Awards was the “Doing Time on Maple Drive” star’s first awards show, it wasn’t her first red carpet event. The Blast noted that he made an appearance at the DesignCare 2022 Gala, which was held in Los Angeles last June.

Loughlin was her usual stunning self, wearing a long-sleeved blue dress paired with silver strappy heels and a box-shaped handbag. Her hair, styled in loose curls, was left to fall over her shoulders and back.

The 2022 DesignCare Gala was held to promote actress Holly Robinson and her husband Rodney Peete’s charity, the HollyRod Foundation. The non-profit organization is aimed at helping families affected by a diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease or autism.

The “Secret Admirer” actress’ last public appearance was in February 2019, when she attended the Women’s Cancer Research Fund’s Beverly Hills gala. Almost a month later, she and her husband were indicted for their roles in a college admissions scandal headlined by admissions fixer Rick Singer.

Loughlin and Giannulli were arrested after they allegedly paid Singer half a million dollars to falsely recruit their daughters — Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose — as recruits to the University of Southern California rowing team, even though neither had a history of playing the sport.

In addition to being sentenced to two months in prison, the actress was fined $150,000 and 150 hours of community service. For her husband, Giannulli was sentenced to five months in prison along with a $250,000 fine and 250 hours of community service.

The fashion designer began her sentence in November 2020, being transferred to house arrest in April 2021, with just one month left on her term.

“It’s a community, it’s a family, and everyone who works here is amazing. They have welcomed me with open arms at a time when I was feeling very sad and heartbroken.”

He then added his appreciation to the organization for supporting him, highlighting his pride in being a part of them. “I am very proud to be here and work with this organization because they really care. It’s really a community,” the “Rad” actor continued.

He concludes by pointing out that it’s “more than just feeding people; it’s about loving people and helping people.”
