“Love Is Blind” star Irina Solomonova has seen all the memes and jokes and is ready to join in!

As a contestant on the hugely popular Netflix dating show, the 26-year-old business owner rose to fame and ended up causing quite a stir online. Solomonova initially connected in pods with Zack Gotowski, a 32-year-old criminal defense attorney.
The two later ended their relationship while on vacation in Mexico after it became clear they weren’t getting along with each other. Gotowski then reunited with his other leading lady from the pod, Bliss Poureetezadi.
Apart from her personal life, Solomonova is also known for her treatment of her co-stars. Solomonova and her ‘pod-bestie’, Micah Lussier, have been known for their blatant disregard for other women’s feelings and general ‘mean girl energy’ on social media. Both women have apologized for their behavior.
Angry viewers also took aim at Solomonova’s appearance on social media, often comparing her appearance to child actor Steven Anthony Lawrence. Lawrence memorably played the mischievous ‘Beans’ on the early Disney Channel hit, “Even Stevens.”
The comparison has gained enough traction on Twitter to the extent that the character and Solomonova become related search terms.

A popular Twitter thread, written shortly after the release of the fourth season, featured several photos of Solomonova and Lawrence side by side and having accumulated more than seven thousand likes and almost 700 ‘likes.’
“You CANNOT tell me, Irina, from ‘Love Is Blind’ season 4 doesn’t look JUST like Beans from Even Stevens,” it read. Some viewers echoed the comparison, responding with photos and memes.
“Irina has the AUDACITY, the NERVE, to tell Zack he looks like a cartoon character when he looks like this,” one viewer answered.
“It made me laugh out loud for 10 seconds,” another viewer said write.
“The person who called Irina from ‘love is blind’ ‘bean from Stevens’ is one of the most disliked [sic] I’ve heard,” another viewer said tweeted.
Tweets about Solomonova’s on-screen character and behavior have also dominated the app.
“Irina goes on and on about how she’s excited for ‘love is blind’ because it gives HER a chance to be heard and not be seen because of her acne scars and stuff, and then she’s the UGliest cast member ever,” a viewer weighed.
“Very uncomfortable watching the season of ‘Love Is Blind,’ one viewer shared. “Ugly people have the audacity to call their partner unattractive. I don’t know who lied to Irina and told her she looked good, but she needs a reality check.”
Ash Gilbert tweeted, “I’m glad Irina is gone, and Micah is a little glad to call her. However, the mean girl tactics used by Micah in the previous episode did not leave my frontal lobe…”
Solomonova Admits ‘Peanut’ Comparisons In TikTok
Solomonova has tried to control her narrative by apologizing for her behavior and acknowledging the discourse surrounding her appearance.
She used TikTok to defuse the conversation, captioning her video, “When you call yourself the bombshell on television but end up looking like a nut than ‘even Stevens’ [upset emoji].” Solomonova added, “beans on a good day,” in a TikTok caption.
Viewers weighed in on her TikTok in the comments section, with Solomonova responding to a large number of comments.
“I will never forgive you, nut,” wrote one follower. “One day at a time,” he replied.
“ok, just because Jackie is the newly crowned/confirmed villain doesn’t mean we completely forgive you, but… girl,” one fan wrote. Solomonova replied, “On the way,” with a disappointed emoji.
“Actually, after watching Jackie, I realized you’re a bit of an angel,” another follower weighed in, and Solomonova responded with an angel emoji.
“[laughing emojis] a way to overcome negative comments,” said one viewer. “Love you. Always be blessed.”
“At least you handled this well. [laughing emojis],” one follower asked.
After making headlines for several weeks, Solomonova posted a sit-down video on TikTok and Instagram to address her controversial behavior.
“…I want to say to the people who watched the show who were disappointed, angry and hurt by the way I mistreated people on the show,” Solomonova said in her apology. “It was very immature and naive of me in that situation,” he said. (via The Blast)
