Former “Love Is Blind” season four couple Micah Lussier and Paul Peden were considered done when Peden refused to say “I do” at the couple’s wedding.
The two even sat across the room during a recent live reunion. Still, the ex-fiancé seems fine and might consider reconciling!
The 27-year-old marketing manager and 28-year-old environmental scientist got engaged on the latest season of Netflix’s top reality dating show but couldn’t keep their relationship alive; the former couple is the only standing duo that is not married. Countless elements seemed to stand in the way of the couple’s success; Lussier’s closest friends disapprove of their union, Lussier’s relationship with Kwame Appiah, who he also maintains in the pod, is frequently mentioned throughout the season, and Lussier’s pod best friend, Irina Solomonova, confesses to having a crush on Peden.
Since the season finale and live reunion aired, Lussier and Peden have discussed their relationship openly in the media. Peden recently spoke to TMZ about their post-show efforts to give their relationship another chance. Lussier appeared on last week’s episode of “The Viall Files” to discuss her relationship with former ‘Bachelor’ Nick Viall.
A week later, Lussier posted an Instagram reel featuring numerous intimate black-and-white clips shot by the two after filming wrapped. Her ex-fiance commented on the post, mysteriously teasing fans about their relationship status!
What Lussier Said About ‘The Viall Files?’
Lussier shares his side of their relationship story on “The Viall Files.” His co-star Marshall Glaze recently did the same; Glaze’s relationship with Jackie Bonds fell apart before the two reached their wedding day.
The Blast is ready to share Lussier’s views. Fans took to Lussier’s Instagram feed promoting her appearance.
“I don’t like how Micah is always quick to blame Paul. Paul said Micah didn’t nurture, which also shows no guarantee on HIS part,” one of Lussier’s followers noted. “He is so quick to blame others. However, I think he needs to reassess himself and take responsibility that he didn’t convince Paul either.”
“I think the stunt he did with Kwame in Mexico was purposely meant to cause trouble, assert himself to try and show he still wants him; he needed the drama and didn’t make the comment a bad joke,” another follower shared. “That’s a great police action. I agree with Chelsea that it doesn’t need to continue on its way. I admire Chelsea’s ability to overcome it and carry herself well; let’s face it, ladies, most of us won’t have an easy time with how it goes down!”
Lussier also talked about when Peden allegedly touched one of Lussier’s bride’s backsides. Peden vehemently denied the rumors during the meeting. He defended his friend saying, “I really don’t think there is [any] bad intentions from him; To be honest, if I’m being real, I don’t think there’s anything from Paul either,” he explained.
“Paul is getting weird now,” she added. “Now that you’re talking about it, I’m starting to get angry. I’ll call him after this and ask, ‘What’s up with you?’ he joked. “I gave him the benefit of the doubt, but now hearing it from a guy’s perspective, I’m like…,’ referring to Viall’s views at the moment. He called Peden’s actions “bastard.”
Are Lussier And Peden Thinking About Adaptation?
It’s worth noting that Lussier seemed to allude to their open relationship status at the end of his “Viall Files” interview.
“Paul and I, until I saw the final, were on very good terms,” he said. “We met recently. I wouldn’t say we discussed getting back together, but it was very emotional. Some are holding hands, there must be [a feeling of] there is still feeling here. Maybe that’s why everyone is still doing well. They know there are still feelings in my heart,” he said.
Lussier’s latest IG post seems to confirm these ‘good terms’. She wrote in the caption, “Paul, I will always be grateful that you came into my life. We shared something special & no one will ever be able to replace that. No matter what, I will always love you…” she shared.
Peden commented, “My love for you is going nowhere. Maybe we’re together, maybe not, but no matter what, we’ll still have him no matter what,” he wrote.
