Bowden, 27, rose to reality TV fame as a cast member in the third season of the Netflix series. He’s set his sights on Nancy Rodriguez for most of this season, and the former couple’s relationship is now a hot topic in the “Love Is Blind” universe on social media.

Bowden knows viewers feel a little sour about his behavior on the series- he and Rodriguez ended up not getting married-, and it seems he’s channeled that knowledge into his TikToks, injecting some humor into his accountability process.

The Blast has reported quite a bit on Bowden’s “Love Is Blind” experience; let’s take a look back at his background and some revelations!

Bowden Has No Regrets About His Time On ‘Love Is Blind’

Some might say that Bowden’s experience of “Love Is Blind” is a bit hazy.

Last November, we saw some of his thoughts leading up to the third season finale! Bowden sat down for an interview with People Magazine and told the outlet that while he doesn’t regret the experience, he’s embarrassed about certain things he said in season three.

Bowden expressed “embarrassment” about some of the statements he made toward Rodriguez. However, on the other hand, he felt he was able to learn from his mistakes.

“I love my journey with Nancy, because, especially watching it back and watching myself, it’s kind of embarrassing to see myself saying some of the things that I say and embarrassing myself,” Bowden said.

Bowden’s ‘pod era’ relationship with Raven Ross had a huge impact on his thoughts and feelings. She later expressed to Rodriguez that she felt more physically attracted to the pilates instructor. Ross ends up getting engaged to SK Alagbada, says ‘I don’t,’ tries to date off camera, and… “Love Is Blind” fans probably know what happens next.

Bowden also told People, “I learned that I need to be more sensitive to my partner’s emotions and not speak my mind all the time, that I put my foot in my mouth.” (via The Blast, per Person)

Speaking with ‘absolutely’ has caused much controversy between Bowden and viewers on social media. She repeatedly gets a lot of heat on her social media platforms as fans make their way through the party this season.

Rodriguez, however, feels a bit ‘blind’ to what will happen to their relationship.

Rodriguez Faces The Consequences Of Those Who Don’t Get Married

Shortly after Bowden’s statement about his on-screen behavior, viewers watched the season finale to find out the couple did not continue their marriage. The Rodriguez family was furious with Bowden’s decision; Rodriguez’s brother had expressed his concern about his sister’s relationship in a previous episode.

The real estate investor also took time to sit down with People to share his thoughts after the end.

“Right after the wedding, we took some time off,” he explained. “I think for me, you look at me, I’m like, ‘It’s black and white. You said no. I’m out.’ “I had to do that to protect myself, because at that point, I was so blind that I had to process how did this happen?” Rodriguez continued.

Bowden then hopes that the former couple can give their relationship another try after their ill-fated marriage. It was a tough ‘no’ for Rodriguez.

He and Bowden tried to clear the air immediately after their disaster at the altar; Rodriguez declared he “will not back down” into an unstable relationship. Bowden also told her in their conversation that he hadn’t made up his mind before their wedding day.

Rodriguez suggests there is potential for friendship once Bowden enters his thirties; he is now 27 years old.

“…I hope Bartise and I can be friends at some point and later in life, maybe in our 30s, we can be friends. But I don’t see the benefit of us being friends at this point,” he continued.

Bowden Wants Future ‘Love Is Blind’ Contestants Not To Repeat His Mistakes

Months after the third season finale, Bowden continues to take responsibility for his actions. This time, he used TikTok.

Bowden was seen sending a long text message over drinks, and she captioned the TikTok, “Texting the ‘Love Is Blind’ contestants a COMPLETE list of things NOT to do when they move in together after a Mexican vacation.”

He also advises, “live and learn friend.”

Bowden appeared on Netflix’s “The Perfect Match” earlier this year, catching the attention of Izzy Fairthorne. The two are reportedly no longer together. (per StyleCaster)
