First Brush With The Law
He once slapped a girl in public for which an FIR was registered against him. He went to jail for the first time in connection with the case and is out on bail in 2021. His family reportedly cut ties with him after he went to jail.
The murders of Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf Ahmed
Lovelesh was one of the three assassins who killed mafia-turned-thug brothers Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf Ahmed. The other two killers have been identified as Sunny Singh hailing from Hamirpur district and Arun Maurya aka Kalia hailing from Baghela Pukhta village under Soron Kotwali police station in Kasganj. They disguised themselves as journalists and shot the gangster brothers when they were talking to media persons on their way to the MLN Medical College for a medical check-up. After firing at the brothers at close range and ensuring that both were dead, the trio dropped their weapons and lay on the ground chanting Jai Sri Ram slogans. It was later revealed that they said during interrogation that they wanted to be famous and that the mafia was famous for killing gangster brothers. Lovelesh was also hit by a bullet from one of the attackers as they shot to kill the brothers. A case was filed against him and two other killers under IPC sections 302 (punishment for murder) and 307 (attempt to murder). He underwent treatment at Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital in Prayagraj.

- His father said while talking to the media that he was a drug addict, and they tried to talk to him several times about his habit; however, he did not abandon his habit.
