Tori Roloff’s three children including her husband Zach Roloff all live with achondroplasia, the most common form of dwarfism.
Despite this, the TLC couple has taken it upon themselves to treat each of their children like any other child because they want them to do whatever they want in life without being held back by their size. For their oldest son, Jackson Kyle, it included putting him on a sports team with kids of normal average height. However, in real time, Tori makes a sad realization.
Tori Roloff Notices Her Son’s Peers Are Starting to Notice the Difference
The “Little People, Big World” star hopped on Instagram to remember how Jackson talked to her about her size difference. He posted a picture from his little boy’s soccer game. Alongside the photo is a clip showing Jackson scoring a goal and being celebrated by his teammates.

The TV personality captioned the upload with a lengthy caption talking about her five-year-old son’s new reality with kids his own age. He began by writing that Jackson’s age group friends began voicing their thoughts and asking him some personal questions about his dwarfism out of curiosity and without any malice.
Still, she explained that it bothered Jackson enough to talk to him about it, promoting him to handle the situation the best way he could by telling him “That’s the way God made you, now show them how fast you are!”
The 32-year-old went on to share with followers that since her son is starting to realize his differences, she wants him to see himself as someone special. “I want him to know he is different. But maybe not as he thinks.”
For Tori, it’s important that Jackson embraces his ‘difference’ and makes the most of it instead of turning it into a crutch. The proud mother confirmed this statement by writing:
“I pray you see your difference and use it to change the world. You’re different, son. Different from the kids I’ve met. You are amazing and I am so proud to be your mother.”
LPBW fans praised Tori for continuing to do a great job raising her and agreed that the little one is perfect. One user stated, “A special kid is gone ❤️Jackson is gone.” Another fan wrote, “How lucky is he to have parents like you? ❤️.”
The reality star who usually shares family milestones and bonding events with her fans gave them a glimpse of the brotherly bond between her two sons, Jackson and younger brother, Josiah Luke. Last August, Tori uploaded a cute video of the two of them enjoying each other’s company.
The clip, filmed in a playroom filled with trains and toys, shows Josiah lying on the floor while his brother chats with him in the background. While he prepared the toy car, Jackson asked his little brother to wait for him. On the other side of the recording, Tori wrote, “My heart! [white love emoji]. These two brothers are the best.”
Photographer Reveals Family May Be Closing Chapter On Hit Show Soon
The Roloff family, since 2006 has faced and overcome several challenges in their hit reality show “Little People, Big World” but it looks like they will be closing the curtain on that part of life soon.
Last December, while chatting with “LPBW” fans on social media, the Oregon native teased that her family’s future plans did not include the series. According to The Blast, during the Q&A, a fan asked, “How long do you plan to be on television? Thank you for sharing your life with us.”
The reality star’s shocking reply read, “I think our time is definitely coming to an end, but we’re trying to enjoy it while we’re here.” Also, reports state that the photographer was asked if she and her husband would “stop filming” the show in November and she replied, “Yes.”
