On Sunday night, the “Pretty Little Liars” star took to Instagram to share a few photos of her relaxing on the beach on the Mexican coast. She wore a strapless bikini while smiling with her eyes closed behind her reflective sunglasses. Her long dark hair was tied back as she tucked the edge of the popsicle to her lips.
In the caption of this Instagram post, she wrote, “(very) belated birthday trip. just got a little sunburn, talked Claire into oyster time, laughed until I was sick and on a sugar popsicle high. whole. time. 10/10. Thank you @fspuntamita,” tagged Four Seasons Resort in Punta Mita, Mexico.

Although there are no straps covering her shoulders in the popsicle shot, the straps from her bikini top reappear on her shoulders as she smiles at the camera. Lucy Has Opened Up About ‘Dark Times’ In Her Life After ‘Pretty Little Liars’ Ended

Positive comments from fans were appreciated, as the actress admitted to going through a “dark time” after “Pretty Little Liars” ended in 2017. She played Aria Montgomery for seven years on the Freeform teen drama. After the show ended, Lucy reflected on the “crazy experience” being on the show for so long in an interview with People magazine.
“It was a crazy experience to be a part of something so big on a global scale,” he said in 2021. “The show changed our lives overnight. We are young, very busy and overworked. But you’re on top of this mountain, and you’re like, ‘Everything is so great! People love us!’”
“When you step outside of that, you’re like, ‘That’s not normal,'” he continued. “After the show ended, it was a dark time in my life. It made me realize, ‘Oh my God, I don’t really know what I like about myself.'”

“I just need to get along with myself,” he explained. “I’m now at the point where I love what I do, but I also love who I am outside of that. That, for me, is a huge achievement because I don’t know if I would be able to say that about myself.”
Although she has been involved in some big projects since “Pretty Little Liars” ended, such as “Ragdoll” and “The Hating Game,” she said that the simple pleasures in life are what make her the happiest.
“I love waking up with my dog and drinking my coffee and watching the sunrise from my house in Los Angeles,” he said. “I used to think one day I would have this big hobby, but it’s more about quiet moments with myself. I don’t know if it’s because work is always pulling me in a million different directions, but I like solitude. It’s not unusual for me to do nothing socially for months at a time.”

He also turned to exercise to improve his mental health. “I listen to what my body needs, so I mix it up,” she says. “I love Pilates and yoga, and I do strength training twice a week. I live across from a hiking trail, and I try to go every day for some quiet time.”
Unplugging also helped the “Truth or Dare” cast find peace. “It’s hard when you’re online, and you’re on your phone, and you see all these beautiful people, and you think you should look like that,” she said. “I think one of the really sad things about the internet is that it can tear at your sense of self, and that’s a shame. I’m limiting my time on my phone these days to keep me motivated.”
