The mother of singer Britney Spears, Lynne Spears, is trying to get the pop star to reconcile with her estranged sister, Jamie Lynn Spears.
In late May, the 41-year-old pop star allowed her estranged mother to fly from Louisiana to Los Angeles and meet Britney inside her home. It is not known what the two discussed, but it appears that the meeting went well.

On Monday, the Daily Mail released a new report claiming that Lynne Spears “won’t rest” until Britney and her sister make a change. “Lynne is begging Britney to make up with her sister Jamie Lynn now,” the insider revealed. “They both tend to yes. Lynne knew that Britney did miss her sister and she told her that the feelings were clearly mutual.”
However, the source added that it will take some time for Britney to get over the idea of reconciling with her sister. They claim that the 32-year-old “Zoey 101” star will also have to apologize to her sister if she wants to walk away.
“Britney still feels that Jamie Lynn is the one who messed up and, if they’re going to meet, she needs to come to him and not the other way around,” the insider said, adding, “Lynne is thinking right now how to make this happen, but she’s not going to rest until everything is perfect again.”
