Baby Lyssa Chapman wishes her daddy Duane “Dog” Chapman a Happy 70th Birthday! The father/daughter duo is as thick as a thief.

The former reality TV star hopped on the gram to wish her crime-buster a Happy Birthday alongside some fun snaps of hers over the years.

“Happy birthday to my Dad,” she began the sentimental message. “My father has helped many people in his life and I am very proud to be his daughter. He has the biggest heart and the biggest muscles,” he joked.

Lyssa signed off by reminding her followers and her father who was her favorite child. “I hope you have the best year yet. Love your beloved child.” The photos with the message are of him with his dad, one of the Dogs fishing, and his last photo with Chuck Norris.

Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman Has His Own Birthday Message

Dog’s Instagram page shared a birthday message to the native Hawaiian, “It’s Dog’s 70th birthday! Help him feel the love in the comments below,” read the caption. A photo collage featuring Dog and his new wife just played.

Some of his followers had something to say about that.

“I think it’s a bit sad that they only put a picture of his new wife there when he was gone for so long. Why is there no picture with him and Beth? Very humiliating. Like they forgot all about Beth. I’ve lost some respect for him because of it. He acts like he’s nothing. Shame.”

Another follower is less verbose. “No love for Beth there huh?!” besides a handful of upset people, others are showing the dog some love and some are begging to see more of him on TV taking on some horrible criminals here now.

Lyssa mentions how proud she is of her father for helping everyone he has helped. Dog is still trying to lend his name to the cause through his social media. He commented on the police killing of Tire Nichol in Memphis and reminded his followers that force is never necessary when arresting people.

“One of the most common questions the police ask me is, how do you turn off the adrenaline when you catch your man? There needs to be more specialized training in police departments across the country to prevent senseless tragedies like the one that happened to Tire Nichols in Memphis,” he began his statement.

If you’re old enough to remember after Dog and Beth Chapman caught their target, they treated them well. Sometimes they will remove the shackles, they will let them use their cell phones to call their loved ones for help because they only get one chance in prison.

One time (maybe more) son, Leland Chapman took off his shoes and gave them to a man who was going to prison without anything that fit on his feet. His father taught him such kindness.

We’ve seen Dog give people water and snacks if he doesn’t trust them to let go of his shackles, they still need to eat, right? And almost every time, they’ll light one last guaranteed cigarette before sending him to jail.

“What the police did was turn the blue line into yellow. There is no room for cowards in our police force who brutally beat people. I’m a big supporter of all things law enforcement and I’m always willing to share anything I’ve learned in my 40-year career of law enforcement.

Never once did I beat someone within an inch of their life. We are all praying for the Tire family and the people of Memphis.”

Happy Birthday, Dog!
