Singer Macy Gray has denied claims by her daughter, Aanisah Hinds, that her son, Tracy Melvin Hinds, has abused everyone in their household.
Gray said that his son “wouldn’t hit him” and claimed that they both love each other. The singer’s comments were in stark contrast to his daughter, who claimed Tracy was involved in a “physical altercation” with their mother and fought with her fiance.

Gray has come forward to deny his daughter’s allegations against her son Tracy. The singer, in a statement from his representative, said his son will not harm him and that although they are facing problems, they are dealing with it.
The statement read, “My son and I love each other and he would never think of causing me any physical harm. Beyond that, like any family, we have our problems, and we’re dealing with them.”
Gray’s statement contrasted sharply with that of his daughter, Aanisah Hinds, who accused her brother of abuse and harassment and filed a request for a temporary restraining order.
Explosion broke the news of Aanisah’s shocking filing, in which she noted several examples of Tracy’s alleged abusive behavior.
Aanisah also claimed that her mother, Gray, did not file the documents herself because she was a “celebrity” and did not want to spend time arguing in court.
The 29-year-old filed for a restraining order against himself, his mother, and his fiance, Cornel Pearson. He asked the court to issue a restraining order, a no contact order, and a restraining order, keeping his brother 100 yards away from his mother, fiancee, vehicles, home and workplace.

In a legal filing by Aanisah, obtained by The Blast, she made some scathing allegations against her younger brother as grounds for seeking a restraining order.
Recounting the latest incident of abuse, Aanisah said: “Tracy had a physical fight with my mother [Gray], he follows her and bothers her like he always does when he drinks. My boyfriend [Cornel] tried to get my mother out, but she kept following them until she fought my boyfriend.”
He continued, “We waited for the police to come while he kept knocking on the door of our room, looking for a confrontation. After he left the house, we locked the door, but he came back through the window and started disturbing [us] one more time. Then, he rejected me, and he has done it many times.”
Gray’s daughter went on to claim that the police eventually showed up but were unable to help them with the situation because they had no video evidence of the alleged abuse. He wrote that they were later advised by the police to file a restraining order against Tracy.

According to legal documents, Aanisah shared more incidents of alleged abuse than her younger brother, Tracy. She recalled an incident in which he allegedly threw a drink at her and assaulted her fiance in a drunken state.
Aanisah said that Tracy was “drunk and [belligerent]” during the incident and “argued with everyone in the house.” She further stated that her boyfriend had to intervene when her younger brother became violent with her. This made the 28-year-old “furious” and caused him to fight with Aanisah’s fiancee.
“Tracy was drunk, and my boyfriend had to defend himself. Tracy threatened to kill my boyfriend and constantly harassed us,” the court document reads.
Gray’s daughter added that during this particular incident, they decided not to call the police to contact her younger brother because they wanted to get help for him who was allegedly drinking.
