Ziegler rose to fame by appearing on the reality series, “Dance Moms,” for six years, starting at the age of eight. However, she doesn’t consider herself “famous” like Rihanna.
“I still find it hard to think of myself as famous,” Ziegler told Cosmopolitan. “I know fame is a very broad spectrum, but still, I don’t think I’m famous. I look at people like Rihanna…I always say I’m ‘famous.’”
When asked about the difference, he said, “I’m afraid people think I’m all that, and that’s what I associate with being famous, even though I know that’s not necessarily the case. It’s easier for me to say ‘famous’ or ‘in the public eye’ because for to me, that seems less scary.”

“I was 8 years old and we were in an ice cream shop, me and the girls from Dance Moms, and people were calling our names. We felt weird, like, ‘How do they know our name?’ Then I noticed it gradually – everywhere we went, at every dance competition – flocks of people. It doesn’t excite me. In a way, I was a little embarrassed,” Ziegler recalled.
